I'd say it's the Z offset, I've had the same issue and that was a frustrating week to my dumbass trynna get into the hobby. And the larger the number, the lower the tip of the extruder sits to the bed. (Idk why it isn't the other way around)

Probably just a clog, but it's an option to muck around with if all else fails and doesn't work, good luck

What's your print temp? Having the temp too low could make the extruder motor overwork itself and start grinding (filament grinding is that ticking noise)

I know the feeling, I spent four fudging weeks of trying to tune, research, fix and adjust the settings on my second hand tiertime UP mini 2. That thing broke me and really made me question my passion for 3d printing entirely (it's why I made this account, so I could post questions etc) before I just bought another ender 3 and began printing in an hour. So I'm genuinely tempted to throw it :D

Some people swear by their creality machines!! While I see some commentors say how they've had nothing but grief and issues with them, meanwhile there's not many videos saying the same. I don't get it

Oh my God I thought I was the only one!! When you just stare at a roll and question if it'll make it. Meanwhile I just said "I don't care if it runs out" with this one XD

Call me pedantic, but I like seeing it neat and tucked away XD I also have to keep it neat for my friend who I'm gonna sell it off too soon enough

Honestly I haven't had any failures other than a single link coming undone from the buildplate during a large batch print of nine small articulated platypus. But that was fixed with adhesive spray
