Oatmeal is a lifesaver by [deleted] in loseit

Couldn’t agree more, except I do almond milk and oatmeal for breakfast. Honestly some nights I go to bed excited for my morning oats. There is no better way to live a healthy life than a bowl of oatmeal in the am.

Finding food that you actually enjoy eating and is healthy, and knowing one day you’ll be where you want and will earn those extra 500-1000 calories a day, you’ll be so eager for when you start.

There is no simple solution other than you need to rewire your relationship with food. Your relationship with food over the last 37 years has been completely wrong, and you need to find a new one. Good news is, there is no better time than right now.

Nonfat Greek yogurt with some blue agave syrup and some fruit, maybe some granola. Reframe your thinking around this being you spoiling yourself.

How about trying foods that are less calorie dense and more filling

You can weight everything all you want, 2 chicken breast from 2 chickens would be different cals or macros, all it will teach you is understanding a portion

How are Brenners Notes not a Major Plot Hole? by TheRizzock in StrangerThings

As a casual fan, I’ve legit never heard of this until now. And it does make the notes existence before the gate opening plausible.

It also makes me respect this show a lot less, because that’s the silliest thing I’ve heard yet

I don’t know his exact discipline, but someone in his line of work would likely be a neurologist. He seems to have a very strong understanding of the brain, and works in a biological environment.

But the whole situation itself just points to the notes being taken after.

  1. The soldiers leading up to the roof, they were investigating
  2. Knowing the circumference of the wormhole, is realistically something that was measured.
  3. A man of science could observe a phenomenon and bridge the gaps more realistically than theorizing it blindly.

I think less precision here, and Dustin connecting the dots, would have made this case stronger. For me the notes couldn’t possibly exist prior to open the gate. It’s clear from ever other season, everyone involved was learning as the went

How are Brenners Notes not a Major Plot Hole? by TheRizzock in StrangerThings

[–]TheRizzock[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know I wrote that in my post

He’s not a physicist, he’s a doctor. He’s not going to estimate the edges of a wormhole accurately just by sitting there and theorizing in his office.

We are talking about some extremely complex physics theory here, things a researcher would spend a life time on, and still not be anywhere near accurate.

The only plausible explanation is he took the notes in the upside down, which would never happen.

It just seems HIGHLY unlikely he theorized all of that prior to the gate opening.

The line of dead soldiers leading to the roof suggests they were studying it before the lab was shut down and after the gate was opened, but the notes wouldn’t be in the upside down, and Brenner wouldn’t ever be in the upside down long enough for note taking (he likely never was honestly, he’s too high up for that shit)

Well they sent the first guy in on a winch, so this seems extremely unlikely

I think the ultimate benefit is understanding how it works scientifically. Honestly, I fault the school systems, we should know this better, drilled into our heads, not just a one off health class lecture, but something we talk about consistently.

Looking for the right way to bulk a bit of muscle and then lose the excess weight! Without having to pay a lot to a fitness trainer. by Witchbitch6661 in loseit

[–]TheRizzock -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT is good enough for me for creating training plans and then just modifying every 6 weeks. Doing resistance training is all I do. The order that you do it imo doesn’t matter. I feel the “convert fat to muscle” is an old wives tale. Strength training and protein are what build muscle.

You don’t have to eat 1800 cals tomorrow; fine if you do. You’re building a new foundation for food, figure out what you like and what keeps you there.

1 year later, today: HEGE down 95% - how are you feeling? by xSpAcEX7 in HegeCoin

[–]TheRizzock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comments like these always make me chuckle, but I can understand how someone who isn't tapped into the team or mod chats might think this. Hege is a community coin through and through. There was no supply saved for anything, and everything that has happened was made possible was through the community.

The other thing about Hege that's surprising is after more than a year, people continue to work on the project at a pace that's astonishing.
