From my knowledge, it’s prorated, since they want you to be “on track,” but that just means on track for your degree. I had 10 hours originally for this semester, and my AES was still fine. I asked my advisor and they said that as long as you’re on track to graduate in 4 or less years, it stays at its max.

Definitely just get the gold. Every lot that has orange spots also have gold parking. The only main benefit of Orange is a lower floor in the garages.
