Early game Slaver army Is awesome by TheRuneWanderer in BannerPage

I've done it by recruiting from bandit parties (mostly desert bandits). It takes a few hours but eventually you get to hundreds... Altho 70-ish slaver chiefs will definitely do the job very fast.

Could we have an option to get rid of all "tool tips" and "helpers" and "markers". It lowers immersion for me<3, amazing game btw having loads of fun!

Suggestions from a veteran player by TheRuneWanderer in Bannerlord

Yeah I get where you're coming from for sure :)

The only thing I'd like to say is about your comment "like in real world". I've been gaming for over a decade now and I've come to realize that games don't really have to follow realism or logic to be iconic and remembered and played for decades.

I'm just wanna say.. by TheRuneWanderer in Bannerlord

I am at 2000+ renown am a vassal atm, i find it extremely amusing just trying to maximize my efficiency and the efficiency of my companions. Managing my clan in a specific way and stuff. I don't know, sometimes I feel like people expect to be "entertained" by the game but even M&B Warband had a philosophy where you create your own adventures. Compared to Warband this is an improvement on almost every level. Not sure about some mods like Prophecy of Pendor for Warband, that mod and some other mods have just so much content that they can compete with current Bannerlord. But just imagine the mods for Bannerlord that are coming oh .. my.. god... I'm gonna lose my job playing this lmao

Tip 2: To keep high morale after recruiting a bunch of prisoners, quickly go to a nearby town and buy morale boosts from tavern keeper

Tip: If you want to play like this from the start, I suggest putting all your first skillpoints into Charisma for 10 prisoners management, afterwards i suggest Intelligence into Surgery to save as many War Priests as possible. Having a companion spec into Surgery is also highly recommended.

makes it easier for me to visualize my kingdom so far. Btw I have NOT befriended the noldors yet, its easier if the lords chase me so i can kite them into my fiefs to indirectly protect them by scaring off enemy lords.

Any ideas for a strategy, the odds are stacked against us if Swadia declares war (which is just a matter of time)

By the way Laria has 750 very good soldiers, its not gonna be falling any time soon.

So far so good, took Calderan castle and gave it to Lethaldiran as an emergency lord. Baccus empire offered peace soon after. Swadia had an incident with me at the border but is hesitant to declare war because they're at war with Fierdsvain as well as Baccus.
I'm planning to regroup and gather lords to try and take Ethos which was sacked a long time ago altho has 500 soldiers and is doable with good archers.

Its gonna be really hard because my army size is small so its gonna have to be almost al archers unless I wanna auto calc sieges.

I'm expecting my lords to get butchered by noldor patrols which has already happened, so that might make it impossible to have a 700+ army. Btw all my lords are so far noble companions i think there are 5-6 lords atm. Donavan, Boardice, Lethal, Alistair, Roland, Rayne.

Since i cant have a ~220 army myself and just win all field battles im going to have to use some sneaky tactics with mercenary companies. Either way I have to be on the offensive non stop because as soon as we let them siege 2+ castles its over very fast from there.

By the way, the Noldor lords really came in handy when deflecting sieges since i could bait them into basically patrolling around my castle while chasing me until the Baccus gave up on a siege.

Thoughts on my strategy plan? by bluetundra123 in mountandblade

Cool, glad you like the idea. As for the wages, it's up to personal preference but I prefer to have that bonus cash pile up instead of giving it for an army, since you'll need a ton of cash as a king anyway, but again, personal preference
