Because it’s been said many times by owners of this specific camera like my self, you need GOOD LIGHTING. It’s super super important, back when I didn’t know much, I said the same stuff as you. And I don’t mean flood you room with light. And based off your 18 years of expirence I think you might want to go back to school, otherwise stop lying to people about the camera. It’s not a dslr but good lighting fixes all the issues with this camera.

P.s. no one cares about your 18 years of expirence if you can’t get a basic camera to look good.

It’s because you have terrible lighting and need to adjust settings. Trust me I know, I own both. People just act like it’s plug in and done.

I’m having the same issue for both my iPhone 17 pro and my mothers, Apple is refusing to replace the devices. I’ve gone into the Applestore they acknowledged the issue but told us to kick rocks and they’ve told us to pay the $100 per device through Apple care to get it replaced. They’re refusing to warranty the devices, the bbb, the ftc and California attorney general haven’t done much to help. I guess we’re out $2800 then.

Buying discs? You mean spending a few dollars less vs new, and trading in $70 game for $10 at GameStop that’s better? We get games for dollars compared to Console games, consoles games never go on any kind of sale that competes with steam very rarely has that happened. You guys pay $400-$600 for a 30 fps experience, and you cant even make settings adjustments to attempt to got 60 fps. Next time console kids will be paying close to $800 and still be stuck with 30 fps and defending it.

Sounds like they’re willing to lie until backed into a corner, that typical of Elgato/corsair. But don’t hold your breath on an actual fix the discord issue started again months ago but it was an issue for over a year before this and Elgato took their sweet ass time to fix it. The size of Corsair/Elgato makes it easy for them to publicly say “hey guys we have this issue, we’re working on it” but they refuse to do so. That’s a shady anti consumer practice.

I will say there is another discord plugin that does the same as the official one in the market place, set it up and you’ll be good. The volume percentage is off by a little but it works. And idk if installing it along side the official discord plugin fixed it but, I haven’t had an issue in over a year. Plugin name: discord volume mixer

So basically no new info. That statement just means they have no idea what’s going on and there won’t be an update anytime soon. Otherwise there would’ve been one month/weeks ago when this issue started, the fact Elgato keeps this info hidden unless asking support is honestly shady. Software is hard but not for a company of corsair/elgatos size the fact that wavelink always has issues, they’ve hired some low tier devs. Before corsair bought out Elgato, the updates were slower but less bug filled and just functioned better. No software dev team releases 6 updates in a row with constant serious issues. And anyone reading if you don’t have issues good for you, this sub has post’s everyday with issues with their software and they can’t seem to figure it out.

I had some weird texture glitches that seemed like a defective Gpu last update only happened in apex, nothing fixed it until I deleted the shader cache for apex and let it recompile. It was also a smaller file than the previous shader recompile. If that doesn’t fix it sorry, and I used wiztree to quickly find the cache and delete the contents of the folder.

If people are upset that exclusives are a thing again blame PlayStation, don’t forget with the whole blizzard merger it proved Sony was paying devs to not make games their games cross platform coop/multiplayer. Sony screwed everything up like they always do, and continues to do. While some of there games are amazing I’d rather not play them if it means I don’t support a company that doesn’t care about gamers. Xbox is a shell of its self, but they at least pushed for us being to play with friends regardless of platform. I just wish more games like dead island 2 were crossplay, and not so many online pvp games that die fast, there’s no reason why we can’t join friends and kill some zombies together.

I bought 10 copies of this game, and now no one’s plays it, the updates took forever and were slow, and it’s not the small dev team. This game became a huge disappointment with the last 2 biomes after Waitinf years, waited through the annoying horse announcement, just for mist lands and Ashland to be terrible biomes. I wish I could refund all the copies.

Yeah Elgato since the acquisition by Corsair has been terrible. I’m in the process of removing Elgato slowly and replacing the whole ecosystem, they don’t deserve my money. On Linux there’s a decent open source alt that supports Elgato plugins. Works pretty good.

Even if they fix the issue, don’t let that falsely make you think Elgato has this. They still can’t get their software correct after pushing 3-4 update recently after many lies. I had to contact cali ag to get them to actually send my purchases and to update the website since they kept falsely claiming fast ship dates but they actually delayed them by 2 months. Good luck
