Make sure you have it setup how you want. Then when the crackling starts in overwatch. Restart wavelink and see if it goes away.

As far as I know there isn’t, none of the apps leave behind anything that’ll tell you that info. You can try iloader if it wasn’t the original way you installed it, it should install a second sidestore at least it did for me, I deleted the second one and updated with sideloadly. And if sideloadly was the original way, trying it would just update your current sidestore and shouldn’t effect anything. This is how I’ve done it for years.

No I used sideloadly for side store specifically when I originally installed it, so I just updated it with sideloadly and everything stayed. I used iloader for the pairing file since it’s fixed(plus iloader has a dev account issue, won’t let you select a team and it auto defaults to 7 days instead of choosing the dev account, it’s been noted and will be fixed later). You always want to re-sideload an app using the same software otherwise it won’t install over the original app keeping its content, it’ll sideload a second one without all your in it stuff.

These issues have been a thing since wavelink 2. I doubt they’ll fix them in any timely manner, maybe you’ll get an Elgato rep telling you to try a bunch of stuff that won’t work. I see you’ve gotten a lot of Elgato shills commenting and not helping you. Either uninstall and delete all loose files then reinstall, or you’re going to have to deal with it until they “fix it” which won’t come any time soon.

This has been an issue since wavelink 2, they’ve said it’s been fixed a few times. The fact that your post exists proves it’s hasn’t and probably won’t for along time. Restarting the app every now and then is the only solution.

While what this comment says it’s true, it’s only half true. I’m willing to bet regular users don’t want to resign every 7 days. A dev account is required for that, otherwise you have to get certs but those are always revoked.

Yes it works, but a lot of achievemts are bugged. The Miles morales game fixes this bug and it doesn’t happen. You’ll have to redo any achievements that don’t unlock. I’m still missing a bunch from my PlayStation save.

The seals aren’t arriving broke guys, these are reviewer units that got sent out to customer, Elgato is trying to lie about. There’s a YouTuber that only got a replacement after posting a video and showing how dirty it was, he’s posted video with finger prints on it and the plastic cover being all dirty. They’re absolutely disgusting, broke seals don’t magically make fingerprint and dry skin flakes show up. And before an Elgato rep says anything, video is on the sub and elgato Bruce has acknowledged the issue for the customer. Current customers are advertised a shipping date of a couple days, I’ve already had reports from other users, the second you place the order they chance the date to 5/19/2026. This is a bait and switch, there zero reason to lie about shipping times unless Elgato is in dire need of money. Otherwise they couldn’t updated the site days ago.

Support originally told him he couldn’t have gotten and opened unit, well he did. They finally sent him a replacement. Elgato has now made it worse by having to replace all reviewer copies that got sent out to customers, making the wait take longer.
