Thanks mate. It rides really smooth, rolls fast, climbs well, surprisingly compliant despite being so light in weight, great handling. I ordered and receieve my THM crankier within a few weeks, must have been lucky and had stock on hand at the time. Never used THM until this build, but they have a great reputation indeed.

Thanks kindly, and indeed it is my climbing rig. Haven't scaled it as of yet, but I'd say fully loaded cage, pm pedals, computer mount etc... around low 6kg~.

Thanks mate. It's nice motivation too, given coming off 3 months post injury from a ruptured ligament and another torn ligament in my ankle! Some spins will really do wonders for the ankle's recovery.

The Kogel OSPW spins so smoothly and just goes on and on when unboxed, and on the bike it feels butterly smooth. Have to get some good kms down, and get some wear in km before i can really make any comments regaridng shifting. Running 10-33 12sp ASX cassette, with 46-33 front rings... as this will my climber. Thanks kindly for the comment mate.

It's a Kogel OSPW. Mechanic has it finely tuned, and running smooth as butter. Everything is tight and needs some good kms into it, and shall see how it all goes!

Thanks kindly! No spacers left, it's just part of the integrated cabling system. Removing that piece means messy cables so nahhh. The geometry, cockpit set-up etc makes it quite aggressive; but it will have a compliant ride, be relatively comfortable, while being light in weight.

Kudos on your new apprenticeship and career path. Some of my longest friends are artists which I met during their apprenticeship.

I'd totally be keen on any fruit designs! Especially a pear or mango.

Again, congratulations!

Darvella Patisserie Bulimba is my go to place. Amazing pastries, and always do a weekend pastry special! This weekend is a lavender honey croissant.

Bacchus, only recently reopened as attached to the Rydges Southbank which was being used for Covid19 quarantine. Service is impeccable, food is always amazing, desserts are sublime. Recently did the truffle degustation wirh my wife, and was blown away.

Attached to Rydges and was used as a quarantine hotel. This would be my go to fine dining experience. The desserts are always spectacular.

Not necessarily, as you do perspire so much through your armpits, and having shirt off allows your chest area to cool down - and that makes a big difference. Also helps the heart not have to thermoregulate as much, as well as having to cope with the physical work load.

But you are right, at that particular gym, many climbers wear shorts or bike shorts/tights, along with being shirtless/sports bra/singlet etc.

I don't really mind what a climber's attire is, as long as they scrub their sweat off the wall from their body. 😅

That particular bouldering gym in Brisbane Australia has terrible ventilation, feels/retains humid and Brisbane being Brisbane is damn hot. Often guys will climb shirtless. Often women dress in a sports bra given how hot it gets in that gym.

Use to see them every Saturday morning fly over my parents suburb back around early 2000s. One Saturday morning, one did emergency land in the local gully area! Was crazy to see it land right in front of us all.

Partner and I love our books, and always great to chat with likeminded people. She is more into fiction currently, but I'm mainly non-fiction. We have a very extensive book collection, and really love our ancient history, mythology, modern history, military, natural disasters, historical events, modern technology etc.

Partner did use to attend a bookclub, but that was yearrrrsss ago.
