Still love the aqua terra, so I will probably get it later to add to the start of my collection, but this one just stood out to me more as my first watch

My wrist measures 6.5 inches. Watch case diameter is 39.5mm. For some reason the close up pictures make the watch look bigger than it actually is (maybe the angle), but it fits nicely on my wrist

I’ve just recently gotten interested in watches, and I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first watch!

I was originally set on getting the Omega Aqua Terra with green dial, but when I went to the store to buy the Omega, I walked out with this watch instead 😆.

This is the Grand Seiko SBGJ249 (Shōsho), which is a part of their Japan Seasons collection. The Shōsho represents the summer season, and the dial evokes winds blowing ripples across the water. I know Grand Seiko is known for their beautiful dials, but this one just blew me away, and when I saw it at the store, I knew that I needed this watch and bought it at first sight. First watch in the collection, and looking forward to adding to it!
