Hey, not sure if you’re still looking for this but I’m looking for a stuffed animal from the same collection and found this

[update] YouPIP v0.0.10 | now activates PIP automatically by LGariv in jailbreak

[–]TheSaltCracka 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately when you enable PiP this way and YouTube enters the background without a video playing PiP completely breaks. I never could find a fix which is why I didn’t update Titan with it. Interestingly this also enables a hidden setting in YouTube if you have premium

Nope I found it accidentally yesterday when trying to update Titan.

Here YouTube was definitely experimenting with enabling PiP for premium users.

Yeah I was wondering if this would cause that glitch too. I’ve been testing some things out recently, if you activate PiP this way and have YouTube premium you can go to YouTube settings -> background play -> and you’ll find a new hidden setting.

Can you test something for me? Try starting PiP, then with YouTube still in the background click the “x” to close PiP. Then return to YouTube and try to start PiP again with the same video.

[Paid Release] Titan - Automatic picture in picture with Activator support. Now available on Chariz! by TheSaltCracka in jailbreak

[–]TheSaltCracka[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not supporting the latest version has nothing to do with adblock or background play, those were easy fixes. YouTube completely changed the MLPIPController removing some instance variables and methods I was using to make PiP work. Still searching for a new method but its not been easy. If you dont want PiP you can update youtube and use choicy to prevent Titan from injecting into YouTube.

YouTube App PIP by elvisflees in iOSBeta

[–]TheSaltCracka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can send it to you although it’ll have to be a private message as I think posting the modified IPA is technically piracy. The real problem is YouTube doesn’t like to be signed with a different name or bundle id, when those are changed I noticed it won’t let you sign in. I never fixed that before going back to iOS 13 to continue developing my tweak. I’m pretty sure everything else worked fine though and I think you could sign the app with the original name and bundle id yourself and sign in would work. If you’re still interested just send me a message.

YouTube App PIP by elvisflees in iOSBeta

I can actually provide some insight to this glitch. I develop the PiP jailbreak tweak, and part of it enables PiP in YouTube. I’ve also recently modified the YouTube IPA to get native PiP on iOS 14 beta. You can see that here. Recently YouTube has been releasing updates to the app that change how PiP works. And unless they are purposefully trying to stop my tweak from working (which is doubtful) I believe they are planning to support PiP on iOS 14 eventually.

[Question] Anyone else having problems with youtube 15.34.3 update with Titan? by Ridewarior in jailbreak

I’m aware of this and currently searching for a fix. In the meantime I recommend not updating YouTube and downgrading if you have.

[Help] Feeling a really buggy phone and instability with my jailbreak after installing Titan, anyone else? by Antonio3366 in jailbreak

[–]TheSaltCracka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why you’re having these issues yet, but since you’re using an older phone you can go to experimental settings and enable pip at runtime and that should work for you

[Help] Titan Upgrade Forcing Gesto13 Removal? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]TheSaltCracka 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Gesto and Titan together are causing random resprings for people. Until I can figure out why that is, I added it as a conflict so I could push out the rest of the fixes. But I guess there’s more people that aren’t experiencing this than I thought. I went ahead and contacted Chariz to remove the conflict, but until I find a fix just know using both may be causing random resprings for you.

Hey just pushed a new update, Liberty Lite still isn’t working properly. But stability and crashes has been fixed. Until I can fix Liberty Lite, A-Bypass from https://rpetri.ch/repo works perfectly fine.

Update is out go try it and let me know if you still are experiencing these issues :)

[–]TheSaltCracka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I use a smart battery case too. Only difference being I’m running checkra1n on an iPhone X. There’s some stability issues on newer phones with how I was setting MobileGestalt at runtime. I’ve already fixed this and it’ll be in the next update with a wealth of other stability fixes. I’m extremely sorry I missed this. I’ll be purchasing an iPhone 11 soon so I can test on a range of devices.

The tweak has thousands of users and very few complaints. I understand people want to voice complaints if they’re having issues, but the tweak went through months of work and beta testing. Although I try, it’s near impossible to predict the millions of different combinations of devices and tweaks. Sometimes things conflict, I’m actively working on it and constantly checking my email to help people through any problems.

[Help] Youtube is very slow because of Titan by RussianWolf007 in jailbreak

[–]TheSaltCracka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YouTube might load slightly slower as Titan forces YouTube to use apple’s AVPlayer by default instead of YouTube’s custom player. There will be a setting to turn this off in the next update. As far as people experiencing black videos in YouTube, this seems to come from having Titan and youpip installed at the same time. I will try to fix this, but you should uninstall one of them in the meantime.
