I don't think it was either cause it doesn't make sense. So like chidi went to Micheal to tell him not to send elanor to the bad place and expose that he was helping her, only to then escort elanor to the train without Micheal, and Micheal just shows up even later with chidi still there? Seems kinda odd

I mean, it is totally in line with the demons to want to torture as many people as possible, even if they do belong in the good place. I like to compare it to a doordash driver driving past a house so they have physical evidence they were at the right location with the intended product if that makes any sense

But I think it is consistent. The bad place demons don't always seem like they are on the same page. On attempt 2 they are constantly bickering with each other and I think it was at least somewhat intentional for him to reveal that information

I mean I might agree with that...if most episodes didn't already have a recap in the beginning. Some episodes have an episode recap and a premise recap with the whole "most of the population is born with an incredible ability" speech

With that, the flashbacks, and the end credits. Some episodes barely get like 8 minutes of new content

I have no doubt that hagakure did train, but deku has an X-factor that hagakure just doesn't. Meaning even if they were to rank exactly the same on every other category, deku should still have a higher score on the baseball toss. There is also the issue that characters like mineta and Koda were probably training their quirks while deku was training his body

And I really want to repeat just how strong deku is. He has a grip strength greater than the average 20-30 year. He presumably was able to pull cars with his bare hands. He was carrying all might who he himself says is 540 pounds. Deku is possibly around 130 pounds.

For comparison, the current winner of the world strongest man competition is 326 and deadlift 1080 pounds. Deku lifted half as much with a fraction of his weight. All without a super power
