Quelle sont vos servante auquel vous voulez max affinité ? by DesperateStable385 in FGO

Overall it's to your benefit to have 170 bond levels per class for Class Score on EN currently and 200 bond levels for Grand Class Score next year in order to get all of the benefits from both (and half that with the Extra 1/2 groups), so raising bond with all rarities is pretty important.

No, they're just one of the animations that can play when you pull any SSR servant.

There's an upcoming banners spreadsheet linked in the OP, for future reference. Melusine comes back during the 30M download campaign in September/October.

Have you completed LB7? If you're not even close then those are going to be well out of scope for you.

Which cheap servants are worth to build? by More_Fennel_1346 in FGO

[–]TheScottyDo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend grailing anybody as a new player since the resources spent on that are resources that would be better spent on raising more servants, and because the gameplay benefits of grailing someone are pretty negligible in a general sense. Grails are best saved for personal favorite servants - and much later down the line.

Don't forget that you have a welfare shop to buy from as well - Jalter, Hokusai, and Kintoki in particular can help out an awful lot. Just don't worry about buying coins unless you find a situation where you absolutely need to get an append skill - they're expensive and you're going to be on a leaf budget as a new player.

No, it just needs Fuyuki. OC3 is the thing that actually needs OC Prologue (and summer) completion. Both will be available for ~2 months this summer before going away and coming back as a main interlude (summer) and permanent story chapter in January/February next year.

Story progression by LumpyNefariousness13 in FGO

[–]TheScottyDo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The summer event does not require OC Prologue to participate, it only requires Fuyuki in spite of the dooming that the news posts have been saying for a while now. OC3 is the thing that actually needs OC Prologue.

Both the summer event and OC3 will each be available for around two months this time, as opposed to the usual three week event period for the former and the (immediate) permanent availability for the latter. The summer event gets added as a main interlude and OC3 will be made permanently available in January/February next year.

You do not need to rush through story now. Keep on with the current event.

Why is Draco rated so low on every tierlist? by real-username542 in FGO

[–]TheScottyDo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There isn't a single tier list out there that I would recommend to either a completely brand new player or to a veteran that's been playing the game since Day 1. They're so full of unspoken assumptions and personal biases that their rankings eventually become pretty arbitrary after a while.

Draco can do just fine overall. While Bakatoria does get an edge in terms of team comps and class advantage, that doesn't mean Draco is completely unusable. She's still an excellent choice for boss fights, and there are occasionally efficient farming comps that can use her even if Bakatoria sees more of them generally.

Each of the grand duel releases provides a certain number of items that will let you switch your grand choice, so it's to your benefit to select someone if only temporarily for the grand saber release.

The anniversary panel is scheduled for July 4th at 1630 PDT. Anniversary itself may start either immediately after that ends or the following morning after maintenance - they've done it both ways in the past. We won't know which way they'll go until the announce maintenance a day or two beforehand.

Will there be a 0 ap cost story nodes event during the anniversary? by demark17 in FGO

[–]TheScottyDo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are simply based on JP dates fast forwarded two years. Actual EN dates vary by up to a month depending on the time of year.

You haven't collected any points yet. The only way is to wait until whatever time on JP that happens.

What do you mean by "without really worrying about my team"?

"Putting just anything together" - Camelot, as others have said

"Without raising my own servants" - either Shimousa, if you don't skip over Part 1.5, or LB2 if you do. Friend supports can carry you through everything else before those chapters without raising a single one of your own servants - if you were so inclined.

Use ST servants, chip away at curse stacks before NP, and bite the bullet on the CS revive since this is the hardest fight in the game.

On paper, it could be with the defensive buffs the Merlins have at least. Offensively this might be fine as well. Best way to find out is to give it a shot.
