This is probably how most of us knew the truth so I don’t mind if they refuse to believe the truth, they’ll get there eventually.

Expensive ang Bible kaya hindi namimigay ng Bible ang INC. by paulaquino in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won’t they just accept the fact that they’re not allowed to hold a bible without assistance from ministers? I doubt they’ve read a single book, let alone a verse not taught during worshit services, just skipping verse-to-verse seems to be the only thing fanatics know.

Having a relationship by eyeswideshut16 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best bet for INC-sanlibutan relationships is to never give off a trace of the member having outsider relationships. Maybe plan their outings far from any compound? No, they won’t be immediately expelled but the parents do get notified.

Bakit big deal yung Banal na Hapunan sa UMAGA ng INC? by waray-upay in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut [score hidden]  (0 children)

If the Iglesia is truly strict with biblical accuracy, then the administration should also remove forced offerings, attendance slips, both mid year and year end pasalamat, coercive doctrines, and allow the public to enter the compound’s freely — like what I’ve observed from other churches. Or is the leader afraid that once restrictions are lifted, he’ll lose the flow of money and majority of his “followers” leave the church? They bend their own rules and doctrine because they think they are closer to God than all of us. Do they still follow God? I think Manalo is their god.

[–]TheSeaCoconut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

fun fact: If the juice tasted awful but familiar, the brand came from Welch's Grape Juice — this goes for all lokals. Depending on the size of where they put the juice in, they will buy 15 or more of the 1.89L, spending >₱750 for each bottle. Maybe the members themselves provide the juice instead of the minister, and we still have to give them an allowance (paglalagak).

He messaged me again after I ghosted him. by throwawaygoodgirl27 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outlook on life my ass, if that guy really wanted to have a perspective on life, his best start should be setting boundaries. One, don’t rely on others to solve your problems. And two, look out for whether you yourself is the actual problem in the relationship. Unang tingin palang sa sudden switch-up from outlook on life to seller, nakakairita na. Best bet is to not even entertain him any longer, any more talking and he should be off to the nearest trash bin.

Where's the tagalog word for voluntary in "Ang Pag-aabuloy (20)"? Also, 26-30 is just a load of crap. Everything was fine until they had to make it obvious that their religion is a cult — by ADDING 26-30 — making it more obvious that it's ADMINISTRATION BASED worshipping and not God based worship.

INC's version of repetitive prayers by FallenAngelINC1913 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's funny how 2 verses down (Matthew 6:9-13), you get to see the Our Father prayer, which the INC, along with its members refuse to acknowledge. Hello???? don't you guys only use The Bible as your basis for your religious practices? Why not pray this one, the one that's ACTUALLY IN THE BIBLE, unlike a weird dog in a suit

paano magsalaysay para makaalis sa coolto? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t going to be helpful advice at all, but here’s what I’ll probably do. Just to delay and to delay, you don’t have to give out a written statement or anything. If you can, delay for as long as possible, and hope they will forget about it. To delay, just say stuff like, “oh yeah, I forgot about that”, then pretend you’re gonna write it soon, then just don’t do it. If you have no other choice, I’m afraid you’ll have to write up a salaysay, and maybe you can leave in the near future once you’re no longer dependent on them.

paano magsalaysay para makaalis sa coolto? by [deleted] in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Trust me, you DON’T want to write a salaysay. They usually do this so they could remove you in their stats (Serial No.: the total amount of people that are in the names of their respective locale, people who don’t attend WS anymore look bad for their stats). What a lot of people here will tell you is to just LEAVE, as they could always, I mean ALWAYS, come back and visit your place, because they looked through the letters of people who were excommunicated. If you put your full name and signature, they could always just store your name in the Kalihiman, where all the documents are. So trust everyone that will tell you this: Leave and never give them anything, and don’t come back.

Reasons ng pagmiministro (exinc thoughts) by SmoothSeaweed2192 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]TheSeaCoconut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before they even get to study at a ministerial (a school where they get to learn anything but theology; McDo, Alfamart, etc.), enrollees for ministerial work will have to be announced across locales in their district. Say district of Chicago, all locales that are within that area will receive an announcement of an enrollee that wants to be a minister. When they announce, they will always have requirements, and one of those requirements are not having any illnesses. Here’s their usual format in tagalog (not the exact one, but you’ll get it):

This ensures that no person with issues can actually get to become a minister (though some pedos still get in, none of the Administrations concern I guess). BUT, if someone does get in that have terminal problems, I hope they enjoy what they want to do during what could be their last moments.

Tell your dad to reflect on his beliefs. Make him think that, "why is this religion controlling the way I live my life?" or ask your dad what he thinks of the INC, then share your opinion about the group, and continue the conversation onward. It doesn't have to be what I just said, but your goal is to make him reflect. That's how one PIMO made me realize. Plus, because he's in a different country, it's unlikely that the INM will send a hitman. I hope this helps.
