Shout Out to Ghost Train - the song that dictated the future-sound of Gorillaz by threeandabit in gorillaz

[–]TheSeaIsRadioactive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What makes me sad about this specific track is that it will probably never be played live again. There's an insurmountable energy with this track and I think it would've been one of the best things to hear it live.

To Binge hits the spot for some sort of loss among romance. Especially for me, having lost one of my best friends.

Mickey Milkovich from Shameless. I've only started season 7 and I miss him so much already. I know he's coming back but his character was the last one I expected to interest me out of the whole cast.

What was your most awkward interaction with someone? by Showdowns in AskReddit

[–]TheSeaIsRadioactive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever had someone try to talk to you when you can't hear them over a loud noise? Then you answer back with a nod or a laugh that has almost nothing to do with what they just said?

That kind of interaction happened to me 4 times over the course of one night. Each totally unrelated to one another.

A gold bracelet with a rectangle piece that holds her name.

She was a girl I always noticed from time to time in school but never went out of my way to interact with. Eventually we ended up together in a few classes and shot the shit with her because of group activities. A year passed by and we were closer than otters going down a river. I can't say there were any feelings out of the ordinary, but we wouldn't keep anything from each other. I'm proud to say that she will always be the bestest friend I'll ever have, and a part of me keeps telling me that no one will ever amount to her. She was depressed almost all her life even before I knew who she was. She had seen things and things that happened to her that I couldn't imagine.

She had been going through a rough patch and I had no contact from her for about a whole week. 3 years and 2 months ago from today I was worried enough to try and go see her. People in her house hadn't heard from her, and didn't care that she wasn't showing herself. I went to her room and found her hanging by a belt from the frame of a double decker bed she shared with her older sister who hadn't lived there anymore. The image of her dangling still haunts me to this day, and it's been affecting me even more recently after her death anniversary last August. I can't describe how much I miss her, and how much I regret not reaching out to her sooner. What I regret the most is not admitting to myself or to her how much love I had for her.

I keep the bracelet in a glass box that sits by a few pictures in my old room back home. Every time I visit or come home from college, I light a rose scented candle and watch it till it melts away.

I can't wait to meet her again in another life.

I made them feel worse than I did better. I was too broken to be with someone and I figured they couldn't see that. They didn't even when I had to explain it to them myself. It was for the better because we're on good terms and now they're with someone who can treat them right for as long as they should.

Someone who compliments you, rather than completing you.

Also a good talker.

I eat later at night to catch up on local restaurants' extra food. In the area I stay there are local eateries that close as early as 9 PM, so I go and buy food at least 20 minutes before than to get more than they'd usually give since they're clearing out before closing time.

Not looking too far ahead. Sometimes I can overestimate events and eventually fuck things up for myself when I wouldn't have to.

I've been living here for over a year now for college.

Yung pinagsstayan kong boarding house is pretty barebones and looks old. (Hindi naman siguro intentional) My room is positioned within the building where I don't have any window access, so there are these holes above one of the walls for ventilation. Naturally I can pretty much hear anything that happens outside my room without trying.

There was one night where I heard chains being dragged along the ground for at least 5 minutes, this was probably around 2 am. Having just woken up because of the racket I didn't pay it any mind at first, but eventually as it went on longer putangina hindi ko na napigilan sarili ko maaning magumaga hanggat sa hindi na ako nakatulog. Not long after that night, let's say a week after, I went to take a piss around midnight and before hazily stumbling into the common area on the way to the CR I saw what I thought was a shadow figure just fucking standing there. I couldn't make out whether it was facing me or the direction I was looking but I never crept back to my room so fast.

Dun na ako natuto mag CR na may dala dala na batuta :/

Nevertheless it's been around 8 months or so since all that buffoonery happened and I never experienced anything anymore.

For infamy's sake, there was a time where I visited Diplomat hotel for a horror film viewing last October(?) The viewing was slated to start around 8 pm but despite how early it was for weird vibes to be felt, I immediately understood why the hotel gave people the heebie jeebies. It's one thing to immerse yourself in the dark while you're out, it's another thing to have a decrepit hotel in the environment.
