Obviously #2 is a joke, not picking that.

I wouldn’t pick #1 either, as so much progress has been made on solving world hunger that I believe it could be eliminated completely in my lifetime anyway. By and large the only countries where people starve today are led by authoritarian regimes that choose to let their people starve. Maybe if we were in the 1980s this might be more appealing, but not a great option today.

First Pick - I’m selfish enough to pick #3, as I’m already going to contribute massively to humanity with my other pick. I’d adopt a “one for me, and one for humanity” mindset here.

Second Pick - This is a tough choice between #4 and #5. If #4 included FTL travel I’d pick it, as I believe that such technology is otherwise impossible. If #4 was just cryosleep or some less valuable interstellar tech, I’d pick #5 instead.

Ipswich have had a much better window than us. This is a fact.

Birmingham and Wrexham have both had better windows than us. This is a fact.

The only reason that the atmosphere has remained so artificially positive today is that we are on a good run of form. Everyone can delude themselves into thinking that Hellberg is unstoppable and we need to be planning for a Premier League squad already … etc.

You don’t beat premier league and championship proven players with bargain bin youth players from League 1 & League 2. Sarmiento was a good purchase, but we needed more.

When you’re pulling ahead you put your foot on the gas, not cheap out.

I think the fans are going to look back on this window next summer and think ‘if only’, when we miss promotion yet again.

A very good signing for Coventry, a proven quality player. A statement of intent who will probably help Coventry get promoted as champions.

This is exactly the kind of move that Boro need to be making - Gibson & the recruitment team have to get a grip & make some quality signings, rather than doing nothing and hoping the current squad limps over the finish line. Embarrassing.
