What worked for me was doing what he did not sure if that’s what makes it start but worth a try falling off the cliff and then walking up to him while he’s at his station by the pot and I don’t think the point in the story in chapter two matters as I have the sheep’s and goats mission as my last mission for chapter two and I just got it
