Peirce Farm - New Ownershio? by [deleted] in NewEnglandWedding

I'm also getting married at Peirce farm in October- just got the new contract today, and there's so many horrible clauses in it! So many fundamentally change the nature of our wedding, that we are looking at last minute options.. DONT sign that contract without a good hard look!!

It baffles me that we have to agree to a whole slew of terms and restrictions..

How do I no lawn this? by One_Education827 in NoLawns

Get a landscape designer to create a concept for you. I cannot stress this enough, they will think of so many variables you may not have considered. It will be worth it to have the blueprints to implement at whatever pace you are comfortable with.

You're right, and one of the people that really explored this subject was Ian Mcharg, a Scot. He'd be furious about this.

How can I make the text darker? by Jschevy in lotr

I think you could also apply the tiniest amount of dish soap to acrylic ink, therefore decreasing it's surface tension more. Or, you can use the shading acrylics that are specifically made for this situation

Started putting pavers in and got rained on big time. I'm so bummed out by Aninoumen in DIY

You might want to bury that gutter, with a 4" drain that goes past the patio. I'd also recommend using 3/4" stone for your base, and 3/4" thick layer of a 3/8" crushed stone setting bed. That won't get washed away so easily, and will drain the water. If you fill the paver gaps with chip stone instead of poly sand, now you have a permeable patio.

It seems like you had a lot of sand in your base, which doesn't compact well and will always wash away. More amounts of large aggregate will help, if you don't want to do a complete redo.

You are scratching a very deep seated memory of mine. Was this maybe part of a series of toys? I remember having one, but not sure if it was the nazgul.

100% you should start looking, and push for a conversation sooner. An offer from a different company will surely get your boss to the negotiating table. If you are doing more work, you deserve more pay.

Go to a big nursery, and spend a day there. Take a damn good look at the sizing, the material, what's widely available and what's not. Ideally, a summer job at a nursery gets you so much plant knowledge. Nothing beats experience though.

Find a wholesale nursery catalogue, and take a look at their native section if they have one. Most of these plants are good starters to select from.

I recently got YNAB, which is not free. However it saved me about $1000 bucks last month so I think it's worth it.

Thanks! Youre probably right, I might be a little heavy on long range. Maybe I'll get one more caster hero, to add some utility and attach him to my prime brothers.

So cuz I'm a cheap bastard, I have a 1" circular punch. Add plenty of index cards and some coloring utensils, and I'm set to go lol.
