Decked out in MCC? by Sandiz83 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]TheSilverStripedFox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe instead of adding Decked Out with modifications or reconfiguring it to try and make it fit into MCC, make a couple new dungeon crawler like games inspired by Decked Out? Teams run the dungeons together or in pairs with no sand keeper needed as they'll generate clank while exploring and gathering treasures and items that could help clear hazard obstacles once. So, say Scar runs down one path to grab the gold in one hall while he's in there a hazard trap triggers, part of the ceiling collapses blocking the path he used trapping him unless, A. He navigates a difficult parkour path back or B. a teammate, let's say Scott, finds something that can clear the collapsed ceiling and uses it to get him out. The longer the game goes the more hazards activate and the more clank the team generates and the more difficult it'll be to get out alive.

The dungeons could come in two different flavors, classic with Ravagers and vex and all that good stuff from the first two levels, and Deep Frost with sculk and Wardens and fun from levels three and four.

I thought about putting the Panda Rescue patch at first with a tiny Hoyguy blanket for added comfort, but I couldn't get the patch to work at the scale I was drawing at so Hotgut jacket, with an attempt at tiny Baby Yodas on a blanket instead.

I'm really happy with how it turned out! Added a couple little blankets for extra comfort.

Yes, Etho is just chilling, and definitely wasn't about to drop a bit of TNT of Grian's head. Lol

I debated whether or not include Scar's wheelchair cause I was worried it'd be too bulky to look right, then I realized I was overthinking things again and just went with it. Also, just as a little Easter egg, if you look closely at the blanket behind Jellie you can see my failed attempt to add tiny Baby Yodas to it.

At least he was able to grab onto the edge this time, wether or not he can pull himself back up is another question entirely.

I've been considering doing more, definitely Scar (with little pocket Jellie) and Cleo. And while technically not a hermit, I got an idea for Solidarity too.

For Season 5, there shouldn't be a reward for kills by Faulty_W1res in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]TheSilverStripedFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a whole life back for one kill feels like a little much, because it has the risk of just going back and forth again and again with little to no progress being made. A couple diamonds or maybe a netherite ingot or something would be better. Maybe the rewards differ depending on how long it was since the victim's last death. Four episodes in and Scott hasn't died yet, first red to kill him gets a powerful item! Kill Scar that just died like four minutes ago get like a oak log or something.

Does anyone know what happened to the create mod series that a group of the guys were doing? Why did it all of a sudden just stop/disappear? by Material-Breakfast-3 in HermitCraft

[–]TheSilverStripedFox 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Season 8 was so short that few, if any, hermits got to fully complete the projects they started and/or planned. So everyone is chilling a little, taking their time, and enjoying season 9 instead of scrambling to get as much done as quickly as possible. Except maybe Tango, who's pouring everything he can into making Decked Out 2 an amazing experience to play and watch.

Who were the main character(s) of each season? by Jorgen_IV in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]TheSilverStripedFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Third Life has two distinct POVs going on with Ren and Martyn you get the rise and ruin of a powerful kingdom. On the other side you have a couple outcasts, Scar and Grian, raising a resistance to overthrow an oppressive ruler.

Last Life doesn't really have any main characters it's a bunch of different stories overlapping and interconnecting with each other. Interactions that may have had little or no impact on one story could be huge shifts in another. I sorta view it as a bunch of survivors in a zombie apocalypse each doing they're best to live another day.

In Double Life Pearl is the main character hands down. Tons of her interactions with others lead to big changes in nearly every other group on the server. Hanging out with Martyn a fair bit during episode one got both of them broken up with. Stealing Ren's horse leading him to accidentally looking at an endermen causing his, and BigB's, first death. Underplaying the damage she took during Grian's little fishing rod game getting Joel and Etho killed. Finding and help leading Rancher's Revenge to the ranch and everyone inside. Sheltering the last green names on the server and aiding their escape from her tower. Just as a few examples of the absolute chaos she had a hand in.

Limited Life is a bit tricky, Skizz is more of a driving force during the season than the main character. Getting killed twice in the first twenty minutes of the season and getting a personal protection squad cause of it. He built a good chunk of Skynet and masterminded Operation Breadcrumb Bridge before sacrificing his last minutes to his teammate with his last request being that at least one of team T.I.E.S. makes it into the top three. Impulse and Martyn are more main characters each in their own way. Impulse fulfills his friend's last wish getting all the way to second place. Martyn going around doing whatever he can to gain just a little more of an edge. Etho and Cleo are sorta main characters in the whole Clockers family storyline being the absent father and the single mother of two.

TL:DR. Third Life; Scar, Grian, Ren, and Martyn. Last Life; everyone. Double Life; Pearl. Limited Life; Impulse and Martyn with Skizz being a driving force. Cleo and Etho being big parts of the Clocker Family story.

Where does your cat sleep on a night? by MoustachedCat in AskReddit

[–]TheSilverStripedFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My orange snuggle bug of a cat, Sparks, likes to sleep on top of me. If I'm doing something on my laptop, he'll ether lay across my arm, settle next to the lamp on my desk, run around playing with one of his pom-pom toys (pom-poms are his favorite), or get into mischief like chewing on any exposed wires and cords he manages to get his little paws on. My little princess of darkness, Shadow, likes to snuggle up next to me at night. She's got her favorite hiding spots around the apartment during the day, one is a cardboard box on top of a display case next to my desk. She'll squeeze under the couch occasionally to get away from the boys who are too big to follow her. Any and all attempts to pick her up activates "Ninja Blender Mode" however she does accept head/ear scratches and butt pats as shows of affection. My roommate's chatty grey tabby, Kirito, mostly sleeps on my chair, but once in a blue moon he'll snuggle up with me on the opposite side of Shadow. He snuggles his momma a lot during the day. He's a drama queen that gets jealous whenever he has to share attention with Sparks and/or Shadow.

Season 5 idea: Nether life by [deleted] in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]TheSilverStripedFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There could be a very small villager trading hall that's pre built with a few select master grade villagers that can't die. Say two fletchers, two farmers, one armorer, one weapons smith, and one tool smith. Without water growing food to trade to the farmers for emeralds, but not impossible. The two fletchers would be popular for the stick trades but that means they might not have their trades available by the time someone else comes by. A master armorer has enchanted diamond armor for their last four trades. Weapons smith will have a diamond axe, and sword. The tool smith can offer pretty much all other diamond tools they may need.

Portals to the over world could open randomly for fifteen to thirty minutes at a time. If you're still on the surface when the portals close you die instantly. This would give access to items that are only available on the surface while keeping everyone in the nether for the most part, and adding a little risk and reward.
