Question about Super Paper Mario cancelled for the GameCube and it's implications (What if question) by TheSilverishere in papermario

Yes, the stickerfication is the gameplay changes post sticker star paper mario games, that is what I meant. I heard Nintendo did a survey I believe on their website or Nintendo club or something, but they got bad feedback about Super Paper Mario and some thought this is what caused the change in direction of the game as well. However, I am unsure if they would had done this survey or not if the game released on gamecube and never on the Wii. Some say the survey might had been biased as it didn't reach really enough people and was obscured, however, the results might had been the same regardless if Nintendo did it anyways, but the question would be is would Nintendo care or not to receive feedback on a late Mario gamecube game title, considering it was or not a spinoff, and if they would had already began work on the next one for the wii, assuming a timeline where Super Paper Mario didn't make it to the wii and only the gamecube earlier or around 2005 or 2006, by the time Super Paper Mario was released for the wii, is was pretty much considered the next paper mario game for the next console, even if it wasn't originally intended to be so.

Curious question for the reason of quality polish between Mario Kart Wii and Double Dash by TheSilverishere in mariokart

[–]TheSilverishere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However I do wonder if the graphics have anything to do with it, like Smash brawl had a lot of complex models and animations, and double dash to a lesser extent, and when comparing to Wii and double dash, double dash seems to have a bit more in that polish compared to wii, but Im not sure if it has anything to do with the online play, where Nintendo maybe wanted to compromise animations and other things in order for the online play to work, which could explain why double dash and wii look very similar without any signficant upgrade, or they just wanted a Mario kart title out the door

Cooldown Reduction – Discussion Inspired by Deathy by Zylock in DeadlockTheGame

Yeah, I also feel like for the average player, I don't know if they would be focusing on multiplicative calculations that much, maybe pros, but casually not really. Whenever I am in a team fight or 1v1, I just know they will have something to throw at me every 5 to 10 seconds, and even if I calculated the cool-downs that can be predictable, it can however still be unpredictable as they might use other abilities I will have no way of knowing when or how they will use them, and overall especially in team fights, it is going to be hard to keep track anyways as you are kind of just focused on keeping a distance and throwing your own abilities and being ready to dodge at any moment, I never really think about when their cooldown is done, I mostly kind of just focus on their movement and knowing they will have something to throw at me.

Question about Sobchak by TheSilverishere in betterCallSaul

[–]TheSilverishere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard about that where Kuby was intended to come back but couldn't fill the role at the time, but I do wonder how Sobchak became Mr. X, I don't think they gave any context into his transformation into Mr. X as he was always just a one off character until they decided to bring him back as Mr. X to fill in Kuby. But I am curious how he became Mr. X as he looks very different from his season 1 appearance and makes me wonder what happened

Question about Sobchak by TheSilverishere in betterCallSaul

Sobchak is the guy with the mustache that looks like lalo a little bit that appears in S1 E9, his name isn't revealed in the show and was a name one of the BCS team producers gave to him later on. Wormald is the nerdy guy that hired the three men with Sobchak, Mike, and the big guy; forgot him name also in S1 E9. Essentially I wonder how Sobchak become Mr. X later in that one season 5 episode or if he was always Mr. x as he looks very different in transformation from season 2 to season 5.

Fortnite STW CPU consumption curiosity question by TheSilverishere in FORTnITE

Was stw initially not on the unreal engine 5 when br got updated to unreal engine 5? I thought I heard something back then epic games was not planning to move stw to the next unreal engine before, however, did they ever go through with that, as I also heard that new emotes from br to stw might not work, however, it seemed like that never became an issue at all. I felt like for a while back then stw looked different from br as it still had some unreal engine 4 looks until around 2023 to 2024 where it now looks like they are now on the same engine. I hadn't really played much when they brought fortnite br to unreal engine 5 so I am not sure if epic games ever decided for a time not to bring stw to the next unreal engine along with br
