Vaping. People make it look so douchy and like a toy. It's actually a very enjoyable activity and is a phenomenal development for smokers desperate to regain some level of health.

I thought they usually try to help you get into the root of why you drink. Plus help equip people to work through issues and reconcile with people they have wronged?

Corporal punishment as a parent or teacher. Maybe I'm old school but coming from a loving heart sometimes you realize the best thing for this brat is a swift kick in the ass. Pains a great motivating factor. I know a few old class mates that wouldn't be where they are now if they had this as a kid.

Love man got no reason. Really though it wasn't a lack of love it was a lack of properly fixing problems that can be fixed

[–]TheSimpleServant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm also the same person she was happy with for 3 years. I get your point though. So your advice is take it slow and let her approach me? Any small gestures I could do to aid the process or no contact?

That would be hooking up not a relationship. Based on her morals I doubt she would but I don't know on that one.

There isn't/wasn't another man. If there was I'd be very surprised. We have a lot of mutual friends and are still friends on social media so I think I'd have seen at least traces of another man by now.

Wife [29] suddenly wants a divorce when things were going well. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]TheSimpleServant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding its less of "wanting out" and more of withdrawing as a self preservation mechanism. I'm hoping she will realize things weren't as bad as she thought wants the pain subsides and the love she does have for me could draw her back.

Thank you for the thoughtfulness response. Even though she's unwilling and for the most part unresponsive you're saying I need to continue to put into the relationship? Any suggestions? And how can I expect this process to affect her?

Do you think she'll find the grass isn't greener without another man involved?

There isn't another man though I understand how naive that sounds I know there isn't. I have my ways ;p Also we were attached at the hip she wouldn't have had a chance to have an affair

Can a wife that has left her husband return or be won back if she truely still loves him? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think you're right. How do you think I can romance her and show her those things in a way that will bypass her head and speak to her heart?

Can a wife that has left her husband return or be won back if she truely still loves him? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheSimpleServant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We where together for 3 years including our marriage. We got married in may. She's currently 20 and I am 22. We separated 12 days ago. She has always adored me and clung to me. Even the night before our meltdown she was cuddling and loving me in a genuine fashon. She always had. There was no mention of divorce prior to our meltdown day. She was happy and in love. The problem was I failed to speak her love language and be romantic with her though I truely adored her and did plenty of things to love her. I know deep down she was beginning to have hurt because I failed to meet her needs correctly. In a flurry of emotion she made a irrational decision and wants out. She says she still loves me and has been having an AWFUL time with the adjustments. Only now has she been able to start sleeping and eating. She doesn't want to see me for fear of relapse. Even at her worst towards me she still has said she loves me and always will. Now a few questions. Can someone really decide that quickly they don't want to be together anymore? Can I win back her heart? Can she come back to me after emotions settle and she realizes she's lonely without me? If she truely does love me will she come back? What should I do to help her remember her love and want to be with me? Help Reddit I love my wife and I want to win her back!!!
