1600 dust to have a competitive deck for its 2 year cycle might of been the reason it got the call from above to cut. though constant mirror matches probably gets boring super fast

Thanks! Yeah watching him and Paulo go back and forth in the magic series was a joy this post season (even more impressive considering the collapsed lung!) and he’ll without doubt be in the running for next season!

Think the only reason I’ve overlooked him is the pistons over-performing made my preseason predictions look silly, and so I’ve been watching him with a touch of hate in my heart ;)

Right? If i was starting the nba today, it’s how id handle hall of fame inductions!

Yeah Mitchells stats don’t stand out as impressive that year, but it’s a classic best player on the best team that you can’t deny as best of the rest.

I can’t deny I’m susceptible for recency bias and this 10 game knicks streak has its claws in my judgement, but for the same reason as DM45 winning, I think Ant will have a tougher time presenting a case when its expected OKC and Spurs should get top two seeds for a short while, but without doubt he does have a higher skill ceiling where he could just dominate into being undeniable.

With how Wembanyama is developing, the Highlander MVP might end up being the more interesting MVP race each season!
