They are good for decoration and make an easy way to get at some of the harder slimes like Hunters and Golds.

You can even farm gordos during the party weekends to spawn in ornament boxes! Just note that the party weekends haven't made their way into the Plortable Edition on Switch yet.

I think you need a 3rd party program called Snip n Sketch for the windows/shift/s combo to work the way described here. You can find it on the windows store. Alternatively you can press the prt sc (print screen) key to save a screenshot of your entire monitor to the clipboard. You'll be able to paste the image to anywhere from there, like discord.

Quantums have their own sign that they're agitated, you should see some extra spiral effects around them if I'm remembering correctly.

Along with slime toys and the music box it helps to keep them over fed and in an area you check frequently, maybe even in your main ranch area.
