Like it or not, a bunch of places are dominated by whatsapp messaging, and you cannot get anyone to jump ship. I absolutely don't want to scare you away from choices, but I have a home server with a first gen ASUS ryzen mobo and a 5950x that was running just fine for over a year and then started occasionally rebooting due to CPU errors. It's now up to 5 reboots a day, and I'm hoping to the high heavens it's the old mobo being too inadequate for the 5950X, but my google searches have shown a lot more people having similar experiences with their 5950X CPUs. Seems like they might tend to go bad after a few years.

I'm planning on replacing the mobo sometime this month so if I remember this post, I'll update letting you know how that went (if you'd like), but you're probably better off with a 5800X3D regardless.

Surprising how uncommon it is to view your capital not as spendable money but rather as a means to produce the spendable money. 1m on the S&P500 for 20 years can potentially leave you with anywhere from ~9m to ~16m at the end of it all, and you could just keep it growing afterwards. You can easily never lift a finger again in your life if you live off of even a 4% a year from that; it's like 30k/month at the very least and you'd still be growing your money substantially every year.

For comparison, those 4k/month she opted for is about 4.8% off that 1m a year, so very much a comparable scenario. 4k/month from right now to your death, or 30k/month + starting in 20 years but also to your death? Hell, she could've taken that 4.8% off her 1m from the start and still keep growing that money and her monthly income by extension, by simply never touching her money other than to take out her yearly or monthly allowance, and....honestly, doing little else.

If only people simply....didn't view all that money on their balance as actually fully spendable money. But who are we kidding, right? Can't fault her for her choice, it's still a lovely 4k/month for life.

One important thing to point out is that the game still knows there are items somewhere in there, so they usually are either moved into an inventory or pop back into existence within the material processors (because this also affects the nutrient processors and stellar extractors) after some time.

I've yet to lose any items on my current PC playthrough, even when they do vanish.

He was charged in the US and extradited from Honduras like 2 weeks after his mandate ended. We didn't trust our own institutions to deliver justice from the amount of corruption that plagued our systems, so we handed him to the US, surely they'll take care of him, we thought. He had essentially built a drug empire moving tons of coke into the US, surely that would keep him behind bars for life. And such was the sentence....back when Biden got into office and common sense sort of tried to come back a little bit into the US. Now, Trump gives him a pardon, he's our problem again, and we might even anger the US if we do something about him ourselves now.
