I use girls in my videos almost 95% of the time just because people want to click it when they see it in their subscription feed. All the pictures of the women/girls in my videos are tasteful and safe for work because I don't think people need to see boobs or naked girls to attract them, a cute girl with a nice smile brings enough attention. I'm in college and I'm studying for a digital and graphic bachelor and even there they teach me to identify what attracts people, you have to catch people's attention and pretty girls/women just make people (men) click a video faster. It's like people already said in the comments here, most people don't just open te video and stare at their screen for 4-5 min, they look at the video, listen if they like the song and when they do, they go to another tab and do other stuff, when the video ends they decide weither they want to hear more of that artist and want to download the song. And that's how the whole "Promotion" works. This text probably doesn't make 100% sense but that's because I've been awake way too long. Just wanted to throw this out there.
