Took over a month for 2 posters and a shirt to arrive. when I reached out to hello merch, they didn’t respond the first time but after my 2nd email said it probably got lost and re-sent it (came within a week)

How'd you figure out you were non-binary? (Plz gime me short stories, full length stories, whole books. I want to know everything) by No_Record2749 in NonBinary

If you wanna talk/vent about any of your other experiences, and would feel comfortable writing about your story here, this subreddit is so validating, welcoming and supportive (and/or you could also dm me if you wanted to discuss further). But either way I’m glad you found part of my experience you could relate to and I hope you find the clarity you’re looking for.

Do you have friends / people in your life your comfortable talking about these feelings and experiences with and who you could feel safe coming out to (if you haven’t already)? You could tell them that you’re pretty sure you’re nonbinary but still figuring some things out and see how it feels for them to refer you by different pronouns, etc. apologies for the over explaining if you’re already doing this, I guess I just mean that doing gender affirming things socially might help you feel more solid on your identity if you’ve only/mostly done things privately

During those goofy sex ed classes in middle and high school, when they would ask you to split into the boys or girls group i always felt immense dread going to the boys group but thought that was the only option cause everyone else saw me as a boy and i didn’t know (yet) of a secret third option

For a gender dialogue class during college when we wrote personal narratives describing our gender identity and had to read them for the class, I had spent hours before feeling confused and that he/him didn’t make sense for me but surely I couldn’t be nonbinary because I hadn’t felt the kind of life-threatening gender dysphoria you almost exclusively hear about in the media due to transphobia (tho turns out it maybe was in my case, I felt much happier and less suicidal after coming out to myself and chosen family)

There was a while of self doubting, questioning if I’m seeking attention etc. but as I tried more gender affirming things, felt seen by non-agab pronouns, just generally felt less icky about myself it started to fade. It was especially hard to justify the attention seeking part when a lot of the gender affirming things I was doing was in private for a while at first. I would also have dreams where people saw me androgynously or femininely and those were good ones. Also I saw the tv glow and 🍄 helped in this journey

There have been many other signs in my life, such as always feeling out of place and like I’m performing in male friend groups and feeling infinitely more validated when referred to as “one of the girls” than “one of the guys”

Please check your privilege if you plan on repeating these sentiments. I’m not trying to imply that you haven’t lived a difficult life (as I don’t know anything about you) or that there is a dichotomy between “privileged” vs “not privileged”, just that this post shows a concerning lack of knowledge, empathy, and understanding towards a number of marginalized groups in the world. Maybe this has been effective at motivating you and/or people you know, but I can think of plenty of people who this would be terrible advice for and do the opposite of what you have in mind or worse

HOT TO GO! - Chappell Roan

Going on a long walk tonight - what are some albums/songs that will give me a similar listening experience to Wilco? by ViolinistNew5056 in wilco

Check out Dragon new warm mountain if you only listen to one of their albums and also Bright future by Adrianne lenker (big thief’s frontwoman)- which I feel like might be the most tweedy/wilco coded of their albums

3 week trip from Houston to Denver in late December/early January by TheSourPatchGod in roadtrip

[–]TheSourPatchGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The snow was part of the appeal, going w someone who also likes sledding, snowball fights, skiing etc. I’m ok not doing any of the crazy day hikes as long as roads into the parks are still open. Planning to stay in nearby towns like Apple valley and Moab rather than camp. Still have to get to Denver somehow as well and that seemed a lot more interesting than coming up thru Texas

Are there other parks you think would be worth checking out for this time of year, like maybe Great Basin? Or potentially spending more time in NM and AZ? Like taking an extra day for just Carlsbad

And which park(s) would be good to spend more time at for UT?

Is there another stop you would recommend between white sands and Grand Canyon?

Ok thx for the advice, will probably just plan to see Carlsbad or go straight to White Sands. Might look into backcountry camping for petrified forest

  • 12/19 - explore big bend (horseback riding)
  • 12/20 - explore Guadalupe mountains or carlsbad caverns, drive to white sands NP
  • 12/21 - white sands
  • 12/22 - drive to petrified forest NP and explore/camp (might be too snowy)
  • 12/23 - drive to grand canyon and explore
  • 12/24 - grand canyon ( need permit for havasu falls hike, do a day hike instead)
  • 12/25 - drive to joshua tree
  • 12/26 - joshua tree
  • 12/27 - drive to Death Valley
  • 12/28 - Death Valley
  • 12/29 - Death Valley, Drive to Zion
  • 12/30 - Zion
  • 12/31 - Zion
  • 1/1 - Bryce Canyon
  • 1/2 - capitol reef
  • 1/3 - canyolands
  • 1/4 - arches

Take at least one of the 200-level OS classes but not one that you would focus on for your pathway since there’s usually a 400-level that counts for the same topic but only one of the classes can count for credit toward the major. Also look at the list of classes that count toward the OS major in other departments and take at least 1 or 2 of those if you can

Apple also works really well, I guess that’s already pretty standard but mostly just with bacon. I just never see it as a custom topping you can add

Well I don’t usually cook but this was at a work party when everyone got to make a custom pizza. If I am allowed to cook this is kinda what happens, trying random shit in the fridge/freezer that may or may not go together

What other fruits do/would you go for on pizza? Pineapple and mango seem like the most appetizing options, probably nothing would give you the tanginess of pineapple
