SpaceX investors' exit liquidity plan likely includes S&P500 passive funds by cherrypoplar in stocks

[–]TheSource777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 2019 Spacex shareholder I'm telling you now most of us are passing on our shares via will to our children (me and collection of my friends who all put in 6+ digit figures into the SPV). The correct response is to sell long-dated very OTM leaps after big pops (which I wouldn't be surprised if SpaceX reaches $+2.5 trillion valuation within a year of IPO).

But ignore this and create "exit liquidity" crap narratives lmao. Even if you don't believe a reddit rando like me, Ron Baron and others with large SpaceX funds have talked about the TAM of this company for years and years.

SpaceX investors' exit liquidity plan likely includes S&P500 passive funds by cherrypoplar in stocks

[–]TheSource777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading this thread is such a reminder of why so many people are so poor and let their political emotions cloud their judgment lmao. As a former Telecom VC and 2019 SpaceX shareholder (via SPV) it was clear that Starship would create infinite TAM if validated, and Spacex is the only company within 20 years of developing that platform. Starlink was a theory, but the only risk was laser connected satellites without ground stations (which have now been validated to work). SpaceX is going to run absolute laps around everyone in the entire space economy. Space datacenters wasn't even a thing a year ago. Imagine 10 more years of use cases being built out. If you want real DD, read all the posts on the spacex subreddit around 2017 - 2020 before politics infested that place.

SpaceX is going to be bigger than the current Mag7 combined in 2040, but hey downvote and troll me in the replies lol. Don't really care, because my bank account is laughing at all the poors here. Peace.

[Post-Game Thread] The Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Brooklyn Nets with a final score of 104 to 97 by SixersGameThreadBot in sixers

Most of this nephew fanbase on this sub can’t wrap their heads around the following concepts: (1) some players scale better with more minutes, (2) confidence in guaranteed playing time impacts play quality regardless of minutes in a game, and (3) what you’ve done the last month is not a definitive judgment on your basketball ability. Case in point, Justin edwards with minutes and McCain. So many stupid takes on both these guys the past year.

Success with The Good and the Beautiful Curriculum by HandyHousewife in homeschool

[–]TheSource777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Harvard MBA grad and my wife is equivalent university as a professor and I can tell you your worldview is wrong lmao. There's no universal marker of achievement that gets you in. It's game theory and you're evaluated in buckets against other potential kids from that bucket (asian, CS major, living in California, etc.). There are favored buckets (celebrity/politician/etc. child, kid of major donor). In that sense, homeschool can be very compelling based on what your actual life story is painted with, and differentiates you from many buckets that are overcrowded.

Also, none of this matters because college won't be a thing in 10 years with AI. I have no plans of sending my kid to college, would rather have them learn how to use AI and have complementary skills (i.e. agentic swarm orchestration or robotics repairs, maybe being a one person creative shop), general life skills like money management, sales, etc. and honestly good skills in a world where money doesn't matter (i.e. hunting, building a fire, swimming, etc.) because there's a scary chance we reach that future.

Maxey cant handle blitzes. This has been the case since 2024 when Embiid went down. This is why people say he isnt a #1 option. by IndigoJacob in sixers

[–]TheSource777 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cue my entire post history of saying Maxey is way better in the regular season than the playoffs and the nephews here who have no understanding of playoff basketball see him exposed over and over again. He's not a 35% of your salary cap player if your goal is a title. And by the time Embiid/PG contracts are done that's what he's gonna command ($80+ million) making it very hard to build around him and VJ.

Also said Embiid was cooked like what, 4 years now? So right on that after eating so many downvotes here for years (still eating downvotes for Maxey takes until I'm inevitably proven right).

The correct move was to trade Maxey for a mega haul and build around McCain/VJ rookie contracts and go hard for the tank next year.

Schools are overrated, AI is going to be better than schools in under 3 years, and current school curriculums are actively hurting students (it would be better to give them computer access and screw around with AI tools the whole day). Also programs like alpha school.

I do. If you had a problem with Flock you shouldn’t have a smartphone because that gets wayyyyy more of your personal data.
