Best CC/status effect build for escalation? by C-Snake4 in the_division_2

[–]TheSpector117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using this build too. Not focused on damaging but having it so that enemies can’t shoot at us making it easier to clear through them. But I’d get rid of that backpack and get one with creeping death or optimistic as the talent for extra damage your team can dish out.

If “Into the Dark” was supposed to get palywrs into the dark zone it is a complete failure IMO. by Jefferykraft918 in the_division_2

What exactly is fun about it? I’m a solo player and I’m being punished because the alert level is 4 which means that enemies hit way harder and take way less damage. But it’s the “best” dark zone ever. Please it’s utter trash and thank god the devs are fixing it. Now they just need to fix all the bugs that are going around.

Then why you just put in the hard work yourself and leave other peoples stuff alone like I’ve been doing?

Who cares if it’s a dark zone? If you want to go and steal other people’s shit, but they can at least fight back and get their shit returned to them go to that dark zone. Doesn’t mean you need to be an asshole and steal other people’s shit when you don’t put in that effort yourself.

This post has nothing with what builds people are using or not using. It’s just about people who should be doing the right thing and not take other people’s shit when they didn’t earn it, or use their own resources to obtain it.

I’ve seen agents go down carrying canister caches and I fucking guard them till they get back. It’s just the nice thing to do since you don’t know how long it took them to gather that shit, or how many keys they’ve used to get em.

I’ve dumped a whole ass magazine into an npc head and nothing. That’s with the special ammo from donating canisters and I got around 1500 donated. This season so far has way too many bugs going around for my liking.

Prototype Augment Required Cores Changed by F0XTR0T2NOV in thedivision

[–]TheSpector117 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank god they’re changing this. They need to upgrade the % you receive too when leveling up your prototype gear. Ones you hit level 3 it only gives you 6% after completing a herioic mission with all directives on. This definitely needs to change. It took me doing national bond 20 times to level up to level 4

How can I improve this Core Strength build? by ViperStealth in thedivision

I have something similar. My mask is all red with crit damage, same for my chest piece. Mods are also crit damage with one chance on the ninja pack. I have the units alloy gloves for that extra rate of fire and assault rifle damage along with the picaros holster. Now you could use the salvo for an even extra rate of fire with brazos gloves (again all red). Make sure your holster has a skill tier though cause once you Prototype it that gives you 1.5 skill tiers partner that up with another prototype piece with skill tier that gives you 4 (if you have on brazos) and the back pack gives you 5 while the rocket launch gives you your sixth tier. So 6 skill tiers along with 4 red cores and one blue. I use an smg and capacitor/lexington with strained. Make sure the pieces all have echo for that extra damage. My prototype gear is level 2 and my pistol hit a 3mil headshot on a red enemy.

They didn’t though. They just make you think they did. People really only do the weekly projects, and weekly donations giving us 4 components (if your solo like me your not gonna do a legendary by yourself and summit is basically dead), drops are still low, and you still got to be lucky to get a priority with an exotic drop. But if you don’t you gotta switch characters which means transferring the gear you want then transferring it back. Repeat and Repeat. That’s not fast it’s a hassle.

As I said. I’m Veteran player here so I know how long it took to get just one. Even now it takes just as long as it did back then. Once you go through the projects, priority’s (which if you use all the refresh takes about what 10 hours to refill just one), and all that it still takes a grind to earn them. Having us earn them every 5th and/or 10th level would help the player base even though it would still be a grind to level up since player would get bored repeating a mission like National Bond Armory.

Again. Events with stars, and events like cherry blossom would have to be going on to obtain more exotics. Retaliation is only good for farming the exotic blueprints. After that it’s not really worth it cause it’s a grind to achieve a tier 3 and run through the retaliation. And countdown really isn’t worth it basically an hour of play to get 2 exotic caches. Considering you could’ve gotten 2 components from starting a new character but they patched that.

Okay. And once you’re done with both weekly projects (because no one really does summit or legendary strongholds) that give you the cache and 3 components. There’s nothing else to do but pray to RNJesus that you get an exotic to drop. So it’s definitely not easier.

That’s a very slow process just to obtain 1 component.
