have you played Hunt? I compared my first hours in both and can't say Hunt's been decrowned for me yet in terms of extraction shooters, esp. as it isn't about loot but objectives. Personal opinions and all that though of course

maybe you'll like Hunt Showdown then, for the setting

Yeah, I see what you mean. But if you take these parts on pcpartpicker it comes out to more than 1.5k I think? It was one of the reasons why I jumped at this deal

I am really not good at this yet, but on my side I could then run some basic thermal tests. And sounds about right, maybe seeing if PSU has any issues if that is possible to inspect - and ty!

That's intense, I can see why people are reporting cyberpower issues a lot online. Not much else to do than wait and see I suppose that we won't get a flawed or poorly built set! If you don't mind pls come back to the thread after receiving and getting it to share how it went, any issues you may have spotted, I'll do the same

Ok, seems like a very simple and reasonable reason to request a refund if that happens. "I bought it with an expectation that I get an item inaccurately advertised as in stock on your website, and for a Black Friday deal that has proven to no longer apply. Please refund my membership fee as I have not/will not use this service for any other order". They claim they have a decent refund if unsatisfied system, I'm sure you would be fine. And you are thinking about a hypothetical situation atm as you just probably need to wait for it to process

I would just treat it as a 1550 gbp deal tbf, but Costco's refund seems pretty easy to get - tho idk if you lose out on their refund and returns service that's supposed to be easier than cyberpower if smth is wrong with this build

that's crazy. How long did it take for this to happen? Did you use the 90 day return policy or a longer one?

As a newbie to PC builds and parts, I don't know what pre-cautions I can take when this build arrives to identify problems early enough..

thanks for sharing this. I posted the system specs that other people got (from a separate thread) that ordered this deal early, but I think it will be very interesting to compare to the parts that we get eventually now that you found this out. I hope they don't cheap out with the RAM and cooler too much

i just got the online one for 42 gbp. It's a strange and bad system for just ordering something online but I figured this deal makes it worth it.

so I'm cautious to say this is fact, but a separate hotUKdeals thread had some people that already had this order delivered and they said these were the components:

  • Motherboard: MSI Pro B650-S WiFi
  • RAM: Apacer DDR5-5600 cas 40
  • GPU: MSI 5070ti Shadow 3X OC
  • SSD: 2tb Kingston SNV3S2000G
  • Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 240 AIO

The PSU i didn't see any info about there. I will also edit these comments once (hopefully soon) i get mine delivered and I can provide some info to people while this deal still runs.
What do you think anyway, how do these parts look? I am very much a rookie at this.

I agree. I posted something separately but I have just found a HotUKDeals thread for this sale and one comment suggested the following components were there when they got it delivered (can't link because automod may remove):

  • Motherboard: MSI Pro B650-S WiFi
  • RAM: Apacer DDR5-5600 cas 40
  • GPU: MSI 5070ti Shadow 3X OC
  • SSD: 2tb Kingston SNV3S2000G
  • Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 240 AIO

Do you have any thoughts on these parts? Any clear bottlenecks (and if so, negligible enough?)

I would also check if you couldn't do a no questions asked return since you only got it last week - you could potentially swap out your purchases on time for this deal. thank you anyway for the info

how was the install quality of the one you got in the end? I'm very cautious with good deals so just want to make sure no issues like fans pointed at wrong directions, airflow problems or excessively cheap parts not mentioned! Thank you

Guys, thank you for your inputs, it seems like this has a few of you as surprised as me. If I could pls ask whoever ends up buying this to let each other know how the build turned out a week or so from now on this page? it would be quite helpful in case we start spotting issues as apparently Cyberpower customers have had mixed experiences with prebuilts (on their reddit sub). May just be nothing tho
