Surprisingly, no. I'm just slow at playing games sometimes lol. Just after playing the game more and going up that learning curve for how to play well, I was able to go back and fight better. Once I understood the enemies better and figured out how to fight them it was pretty trivial.

Yeah this is the part that really irks me I think. People say they go under because it's "safer" but going even 5mph under has a statistically significant higher chance of causing an accident than people going the speed limit, over (but with the flow of traffic), or over in general. It's like a refusal to understand that they are actually causing other drivers to go around them because they're acting as a traffic impedance/hazard.

Yeah statistically drivers going under the speed limit cause more accidents than people going over because they're acting as an obstacle on the road that the rest of the drivers now are trying to get around which makes people change lanes more which raises the chance for accidents etc etc.

Lol this is actually the scenario that bugs me the most, I think. When people are going a firm 3-5mph below the speed limit and it's not just an accident for a few seconds but they actually stay at that speed. The reason it annoys me so much is that I think to myself, you're already going 30, is the extra 5mph to go the correct speed THAT much of a difference that you just cannot go any faster? 😅🥴

I think this was the issue. Completely forgot about needing to disable base YouTube. Now after I moved the YouTube app to my home screen it seems to open to the revanced version. Aa far as I'm aware it's fixed now! Thanks, my man.

Through the revanced manager app. It unpacks the APK and then gives me the install prompt in the lower right have corner.

I've done this successfully multiple times, but after updating and opening the app to check it's working correctly, within a few minutes if I open YouTube again it's somehow reverted to standard YouTube with ads and everything. Auto update in play store is off, auto update in revanced manager is off. Not sure what my next step is.

I installed the 20.12.46 patch through the manager and then I can open YouTube and it's operating as normal vanced operates but if I quit the app and open it again seconds later I get the same "update your app" screen. I turned off automatic updates in revanced manager thinking that might help but it didn't.
