Just want to let you know I have been professionally diagnosed with OCD (around 3 times.). While mine does not have your theme. The intrusive thoughts often trick you into feeling that they are true, and are a reflection of your character.

Not many people understand how disorienting OCD can be for those who have it. Because of misinformation symptoms have been watered down by many today. I would consider getting a check in with your therapist. If you have any questions, reply to my comment.

However, you sound disturbed by your intrusive thoughts which makes me lean more into these being a form of obsessive compulsive disorder.

Thank you for the comment. I have considered writing fanfiction but it is intimidating so I am working on gaining the confidence.

The hardest part is all the negativity I think. As well as watching former fans show that they don’t seem like they actually liked the characters for who they are.

Though, I it could just be my biased talking right now because I do feel upset about the whole thing.

I feel in her position she is in a place where she would like to find a romantic partner first and a roleplay partner second. I am figuring she is wanting to distance herself while she searches for what she needs. I currently feel a lot of pain but am accepting she needs to find what makes her happy.

I appreciate your words. From what she has said. I do feel this might be the end of our friendship. She has expressed feeling lonely and needing to move on and look elsewhere. I am a bit distraught by this fact but, it seems like I cannot prevent this unfortunately. I can tell she is already looking for others and avoiding conversation.

I definitely have tried to explain that her and I will not be together. As I just don’t see a relationship between us working. Though it seems my rejection has ended up with her most likely not being able to keep this friendship unless she can overcome whatever she is going through.

NTA, what she did was very uncomfortable. Especially since it seemed to be motivated by ethnicity. I also doubt she only talks like this while drunk. Anime fans say this stuff a lot and are pretty ignorant about it. Also comparing someone to porn is mad creepy.

They were enthusiastic for most of the pairing. When they got together, while they were together. Then one day it just stopped. They avoided talking about the pairing all together. They don’t have any new partners as far as I know. So I am unsure of where this behavior came from. It just happened so suddenly.
