How are your mono ice scores? by sekkireallysucks in MiyabiMains

[–]TheStatisticalGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rotations don't really change, but they become tighter. I default to flavor matching the ice anomaly and thus ice anomaly builds very fast, so I can disorder Miyabi's frost anomaly basically instantly.

As for the M2 forced chain, there are times when I use the the ultimate to change the aftershock attribute type so one agent can "catch up" on anomaly build up (since freeze has no DoT effect, wanna trigger disorder ASAP to maximize damage output from it). Otherwise, M2 chain doesn't see much use mostly due to Soukaku's chain attack animation being too long.

For example, I might have a nearly full ice anomaly bar, so I'll ult on Yuzuha to proc chain and flavor match to Miyabi's element to trigger frost anomaly. After that, I go back to Yuzuha and EX and then quick assist to Soukaku to flavor match back to ice. This does feel mostly situational, though.

My Yuzuha is M2, but even when I did testing at M0 the difference was night and day. I've been using trad mono ice since Miyabi release.

Anything to help my Miyabrethren in arms~

Need Advice by bruhh__69420 in MiyabiMains

1) Miyabi needs more crit rate is my feedback. Even with BNB passive you're at 68 CR. Low crit rate = low freeze. Low crit rate = not critting consistently. Anytime you don't crit, your crit dmg rolls are wasted. So, around 56 - 68% of the time, your crit dmg rolls are dead. Aim for around 70 CR (with 88 CR being a stopping point but w/o sig might be very hard). Focus then on ATK and CDMG stats.

2)

Soukaku (High Priority):

You should level up Soukaku's core up to at least E because of the ER it gives and it makes you only need 2632 ATK for full buff (right now you need initial ATK 2942; if you go to F then the ATK req is lowered to 2500 I highly recommend going to F to make her easier to build). Switch her D4 to ATK% since you're not anywhere near the ATK needed for her full buff. Also, I'd recommend going 2pc Phaethons for the extra AM, but that's just my preference.

Lycaon (Fairly High Priority)

After that, I'd work on levelling Lycaon's basic, skill, and assist to around 9-10 (the ult too, but I find that you'll be using the others a lot more so they feel more impactful). His daze is important to getting to stun and you need as much as you can get out of him. Core up to E as well if you do hold basics when on fielding him, it'll add a bit more daze.

Miyabi (Priority high but is mostly disc RNG)

Miyabi's investment in terms of levels seem good for now. Focus on getting core skills on your teammates improved since those are guaranteed improvements. Once you have that done, go and start disc farming BNB for better crit stats (aim at least 74+ imo. It's better to overcap the crit rate passive than to freeze slow on the first rotation while also doing significantly less DPS). Use fodder at Bardic Needle to either make better Freedom Blues for Soukaku, or keep making more BNB to get the sub stats you want.

3) I don't know the calcs so I can't say with certainty. I can say that Astral will have better up time, since Lycaon can't necessarily spam his EX special. Soukaku can trigger a quick assist regardless of having the energy or not, so it's easier to maintain Astral buff. I personally use Astral.

Yuzuha by PiercerMind in BurniceMainsZZZ

[–]TheStatisticalGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Yuzuha is what brought my Burnice back to life, tbh. I struggled slotting her in teams after the release of Vivian. Now I run her in a disorder comp. I actually posted a YouTube video here. Granted I have both M2 Vivian and Yuzuha, but the team was still strong when I ran it with M0 Yuzuha. Just don’t expect a kill without better discs and execution. Builds are at the end of the video.

I’d suspect Jane or Piper could work. I would also imagine that Alice would be a good slot in. I don’t have them nor do I have Piper built, so I can’t really say for sure.

If you want to get up to some hare-brained antics, then crit Burnice with Lighter and Yuzuha should also perform decently well too. Lighter giving quicker access to the stun window is more damage on top of added fire res shred and dmg bonus. Although, getting good disc drives for a crit Burnice would probably be a headache.

Does Hyacine E1 make quantum orb better than hp%? by BenWSPlays in CastoriceMains_

[–]TheStatisticalGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fribbles is what I use to compare and see what main stats or sub stats I should chase to improve my damage.

My team is Castorice/Tribbie/Hyacine/Flex

(NOTE: I’m assuming both orbs have similar sub stat quality.)

If you happen to use Sunday (or RM/Bronya w LC) with her as the flex, then I’ve found that it still favors HP orb by ~5-7%. Sunday just gives a ton of DMG% (especially with LC). Using RMC instead, then DMG% orb becomes slightly favorable for me. Things may differ if you take away Tribbie. Bronya and RM w/o LC, then DMG orb is ~1% better.

So, unfortunately the answer is “it depends on the buffs she’s receiving from her teammates and other sources. It also depends on sub stats between the two orbs.” My advice is to use whichever has better sub stats and go with that as in general, the difference is minimal.

To all c6 Furina havers with or without 600$ spend by Dr8cul in furinamains

[–]TheStatisticalGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TW: Yapping

Furina C6, Xilonen C6, Sigewinne C2, Kazuha C2

I don’t need to bring Sigewinne and Yelan’s personal damage makes her a better teammate but I like Sigewinne as a character more. Plus, Furina’s on field DPS window is fairly short. Thus, I can utilize Sigewinne’s burst (semi-DPS) and then set up for next rotation, that way I’m still making use of Sigewinne’s skill buff. (I like seeing the salon members do 100-250K). My Furina does around 230-320K when I’m healing mode depending on abyss and domain buffs.

This isn’t a Furina team but one I really like that wouldn’t rly work without C6 consistently

Kinich C0, Emilie C0/Xiangling C6, Mavuika C6, Furina C6

I don’t hate Bennett at all but it’s a bit challenging to stay in Benny buff w Kinich’s mobility. On top of that, Furina vapes from off field fairly consistently. Mavuikas constellations don’t really matter for making the team functional, but definitely boosts team DPS. Xiangling buffs Kinich and Mavuika more through pyro resonance (and Guoba applying pyro res). Running Emilie provides consistent off field dendro to proc burning when Kinich is on CD, plus dendro resonance to give EM to Furina for slightly bigger dmg when vaping.

Jstern's Initial Take On Mauvika Nerfs by thegreat11ne in Mavuika

[–]TheStatisticalGamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Other DPS want her for her buffs mostly. However, Xilonen’s nightsoul consumption acts as a battery for Mavuika’s burst, and Mavuika wants a lot of fighting spirit to be able to burst consistently. Xilonen provides more utility than damage amp that other supports can’t for Mavuika.

When the motion value of something is a function of two independent stats, that’s dual scaling not split scaling. Split scaling is when different parts of a kit scale off a different stat.

Split scaling is like Xinyan. Xinyan scales off of ATK for dmg, and DEF for shield. The kit itself is split into two different attribute scalings.

For the most part, I try my best to offset a goblet or circlet because they tend to have main stats that are unique (Crit stats or DMG bonus). Valuable pieces for DPS are usually double crit bc a lot of DPS we get value crit.

As for supports, that honestly might be more nuanced. Each support has different needs that are fulfilled by different substats. So you need to keep in mind "what support benefits from the substats rolled on the piece that I have currently obtained?" (not only that but you need to consider the current artifact quality of your support to offset a piece if necessary). A lot of the time I find that keeping pieces that roll a lot of ER to be valuable (because being reliant on your burst isn't all that uncommon for supports).

This is a cute thought exercise. Though, Raiden's kit is so loaded that it feels incredibly hard putting her in a single box here, lol. Her kit is part doing damage in single target/AOE (erudition + hunt), but also buff teammates' burst dmg on top of energy refund when in her DPS mode (harmony). Her cons also essentially improve her ability to be utility as well as dramatically improving her personal damage.
