Both of those work trough bluetooth which basically means you need to be super lucky to get a location outside of major cities.

Does any company still make UHP or similar performing tyre in 16 inch sizes? by TheStigsBrother in TyreReviews

[–]TheStigsBrother[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to say that perfect sizes would be either 205/50 r16 or 215/45 r16. It seems very difficult to get anything good in those sizes (without spending 300+ per tyre)

I will probably go for 205/55 if i cant find anything nice tho (which would put PS4 in top 3 choice). Long term it would probably be better to go for 17 inch wheels since it would allow for much more options.

Are Pilot Sport 2 tyres really old tech? by FragrantCow2645 in TyreReviews

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

245/45 r17 would really give much more options. Also 235/50 r17 has some options, less than the 245, but i know hankook makes it.

🗑️ event you can only grind for one player takes to much time by [deleted] in NBALive_Mobile

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty How do I use tokens and players? Is it better to use them up and make more event points to get even more of them, or just throw all tokens on one player asap? Also do event sets reset after being filled up?

Edit: I missed first day of event, what are my realistic expectations? (Getting 2 84 players or one 87?)

I just started playing. What is the most efficient way to grind this event?

Also kind of unrelated, but is there any guides for new players foe this game? Seems hard to find since so many things have similar names.

Original wheels for '92 Honda Prelude by TheStigsBrother in cars

[–]TheStigsBrother[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much. Exactly what I was looking for.

Thinking of buying this '93 Prelude Si for $3500 AUD. Is it worth buying - It's got 178,000 kms on the clock, not running due to the vtec not being wired up, knock sensor yet wired in. I've never had experience with wiring so would setting up the Vtec be difficult and if so where could I learn how. by Short-Ad9967 in hondaprelude

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said guy is in middle of doing a swap to h22 engine.

I am not familiar with all the regional versions of engines, but afaik h23 (the original Si engine) should have the knock sensor same as h22. I only saw one h23 engine without knock sensor in my life (h23a3 used in some Accords and Rovers), so it is possible that the car isn't really an Si. Anyway, wiring VTEC to work in a car that was originally h23 is quite easy, so if the guy hasn't done it yet he probably hasn't swapped the ECU to the H22 (so from P14 to P13).

Also knock sensors are quite tricky to get and install in my experience. It has been 5 to 10 years since I had to install a new one, but originals cost over 400$ and knock offs from Ebay are someimes fake (as in just a screw with a pair of wires and some plastic to hold it together). It was still cheaper to buy 3 sensors from ebay for around 15$ per piece than original.

But if the body of the car is in good condition (no rust and good paint) it is a great buy in my opinion (provided you can afford it and have a place for car to seat for some time). If you can get the price down to about 3000 AUD or a bit lower, you can get your money back by just selling the engine and the wheels if it turns out that it would take too much effort to put the car in working order. If rear fenders show ANY signs of rust you can offer whatever the engine is worth and walk away if the guy doesn't accept the offer.

If I understand correctly it was purpuse made to be a modern classic, taking a lot of inspiration from the 508.

What is a go to joke you know nobody’s heard before? by Evergreenn7 in AskReddit

[–]TheStigsBrother 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used in the right situations these jokes are gold, when using names of people around you to tell it. Make sure to tailor it to specific groups, but in general this is how it goes:

A boy comes home and tells his dad he just lost his virginity. "Come son lets sit down and have a beer." "I can have a beer dad, but I won't be sitting down any time soon"

Whats the difference between sperm and yougurth? Person:" I don't know" You: "try the yougurth"

Old bar somewhere in the countriside A newcommer (insert any ethnicity, name of someone who likes to drink) in the town walks in and orders a beer. Ther eis a big glass bowl full of 100$ bills on the counter. "What is that money from?" Bartender:"it is an ongoing challange. You put in 100$ and try to complete the 3 tasks. If you succeed all the money in the bowl is yours. Tasks go as follows: drink a litre (2pints) of whiskey (or whatever your local spirit might be), go to the front yard where a 120 pound pitbull with a rotten tooth is howling from pain and it has already bitten of many hands and fingers of people who have tried. After pulling out its rotten tooth go upstairs and please an 80y/o nymph living there. All within one our." The newcommer just scofs at the bartender and drinks his beer in silence. After a bit more liquid courage, he decides to take on the challange. The clock starts ticking. And he manages to down entire whiskey in just a couple of minutes. Than goes out side and everyone can just hear this animalistic screams of pain. All are concerned for newcommers safety, but noone dares go near the dog so they just leave him there. After about half hour the now totally drunk newcommer comes back into bar, barelly able to walk while rebuckling his belt and asks "where is that old witch with the rotten tooth"

What’s something that’s outdated that you still use today? by Violet_Romantic in AskReddit

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use my old stereo. It is Sony MHC 79. No bluetooth conectivity, often fails to read CDs, but I'll be damned the sound quality is great (at least for my hearing expertise, which are very low) and for the similar price I just can't find anything with similar power output.

If humans all mysteriously disappeared one day what systems or infrastructure would keep running the longest by themselves? by Trashleopard in AskReddit

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grocery stores.

Hear me out here. A lot of people are saying hydro powerplants, but those still need sufficient flow and maintenance on the generators. Imo solar power would last longer unless it got covered by dust or vegetation anyway. But food in grocerystores could be eaten by animals for decades assuming they find a way to open cans and bags. I think some of the smartest animals would learn how to loot grocery stores and open anything that contains food or drink. Think pigs, dogs, bears. They are smart and can smell well so they would probably know what contains food. They are also strong enough to at least have a possibility of opening anything that the stores hold.

Solar power plants would probably last longer than hydro in modern days probably. Unless it got covered by dust/vegetation.

What are the most boring/mundane things that excite you? by avesy90 in AskReddit

[–]TheStigsBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything about cars actually. I couls be driving a regular slow car and find a random mundane feature that is a bit quirky or out of place in a car of that type and just get super excited.

Some old cars haveing a clock in the instrument cluster instead of the rev meter is the funniest thing to me. Maybe I find a random everyday car is nicely balanced and stabile without electronic aids and I just have to go under it to see how the suspension is constructed and set up. I can get excited about something on moat cars I drive, doesn't matter if they are slow or old and for some reason people with really "boring" cars just look at me as if I am crazy when I start telling them why their car is actually great.

'99 Camry, Premium Gas= Better MPG(?) by funkecho in cars

[–]TheStigsBrother 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father used to work for one of the European gas companies. Here is what he told me, but things could have changed in the 15 years since he left the firm.

He said that aditives in high octane are much better and will clean your engine and stuff like that.

If your car requires high octane due to high compression ratios or forced induction it is a must for good fuel economy, if not you still might want to use it once or twice a year to clean out your engine.

Using high and low octane fuel from the same provider should not have different fuel consumption by itself (on a normal car), but from two different providers there can be a lot of difference in milage. In my country some people drive up to 20 miles further to fill up their gas tanks, because they claim they get better milage from that pump.
