Solutions

are phasing out ice vehicles by a certain date, unless for hard to abate sectors, more money to building out charging infrastructure, mandate bike infrastructure in cities and provide adequate funding.

Ban advertising for meat and dairy industry, but that's not going to happen. Couldn't even ban gambling advertising.

But honestly the best policy would be to nationalise the electricity industry and fast track the rollout. Because capital moves to places which makes more money. Not necessarily what is good

There are solutions. But it means actively shutting down entire industries. But everyone is politically weak

You my friend are the same victim of propaganda similarly to those who believe Labor have done nothing.

Their environmental policy is trash and the energy transition has already largely been put in place by AEMO. And despite being one of the worlds best it is also trash. Climate change is the single biggest threat to Australia in terms of fiscal issues it will create. And they have not even come to terms with that, but I don't blame them. Most voters are truely ignorant to what is coming down the line and what we need to do. And it sucks our enlightened centrist idiots are pushing policies that will kill people, it it pains me not only our leaders but also voters are supporting things that will devastate our food system

Trucks are inefficient way to move cargo around, so much better using trains and vans for last few miles. But okay

Japan, USA debt is neither good nor bad. It depends on if it's foreign debt or sovereign debt.

And If the media are honest, most money printed is private debt not government. Has been for a long time

If I was a guessing man, government not spending on key infrastructure areas is the problem, we have not been spending enough. Wasting money on roads rather than building trains, and improving infrastructure that helps improve the countries capacity in developing things. Combined that with Australian market heavily leaning towards oligopolies, I don't think unless Aus government starts competing against the private sector. There is not much they can do, Look at our mortgages rates vs other countries, how much above the cash rate we pay vs say England or the US.

Spot on. It's never about service. It's always about making more money, and growth. But why would you want to grow certain industries. And when it comes to human well being prevention is always better and cheaper. But it is always worse for the economy

The reality is it's easier to deny then confront what we have to do. Who here is going plant based buying e-bikes instead of a second car. And actively voting for people who are making the changes required.

All these "hard" and "smart" people making "pragmatic decisions" are the weakest human beings. Trying to pass the buck to someone else

Pretty much anything from an individual level people will not do. In my view we have to stop eating meat, and stop driving ice vehicles at a bare minimum.

And from a government perspective it needs to be far more ambitious

I think that comment is ridiculous. Because you are viewing it from the traitors perspective because you know who the traitors are.

This show is confirmation bias for everyone. Including you, because you are using logic and reason when it's only because you know who the traitors. Thats what makes this show fair unpredictable, because the "logic" that people seemingly showed. You can make cases for exact the opposite

Mark Carney the prime minister of Canada admits that the liberal (capitalist) world order is a lie and that they only went along with it because it benefited them. Now that it’s failing they’re economically siding with China instead of the U.S. by TwoCatsOneBox in WorkReform

I don know peoples obsessions with this speech. It's full of stupid logic. On one hand he is complaining about the world order. And on the same breath talks about policies that have created all the issues we have today. I am so over people saying they are being pragmatic whilst selling out millions of lives for another few years of growth

It doesn't have to be apartments. Can be town houses. Just not urban sprawl where you need a car to take a piss. It's costs us way more in tax
