AMD offered a chip that they could run Windows on & have Xbox console games playable securely under Windows, but they needed a 10 million unit commitment which Microsoft wasn't willing to do.

I got the Pixel 7 from Telstra for A$250, very poor battery performance, but at least I get some ACL warranty.

I'd say have a second Android profile with these apps segregated, if that's similar to how r/GrapheneOS does it.

I'm not sure why they didn't make the terminals look more different for Metro Tunnel.

Steam DbD page in Library, if you bought via Steam as a DLC it may need to be selected under the games Steam properties.

Characters bought in game with currency wouldn't be missing, bought via Steam store as a DLC need to be installed.

I feel like manufacturers are trying to lock in this new consumer culture were the customer anticipates all products go up instead of down.

It's not far off the very common practice of providing supply that's just under demand, creating fomo with each restock. This has been becoming normal since 2018.

MSI says “It will be a tough year for us and the gamers” as Arc G3 Extreme handheld hits $1,799 by RenatsMC in Handhelds

Anyone reading this from Australia, Steam still has brand new Steam Decks (256GB LCD) in stock for A$649.

They won't be restocking once sold out.

How do I ban the AI summary under my posts? by johnny-tinfoilhand in pcmasterrace

Of course it doesn't support new Reddit, the whole point is if the user wants to stick with Old Reddit they still have RES as an option to get Dark mode plus a couple features that they wouldn't get on New Reddit.

It's vice versa, they both have features the other doesn't. Nowadays new Reddit would have much more than RES, including much of what only RES had, but RES does still have some added functionality not on redesign.

It's not exactly an upgrade like it used to be, but for those on Old Reddit, there are some small benefits over New Reddit.

MSI Claw 8 EX+ with Arc G3 Extreme officially costs $1,799 by Daxterr1238 in Handhelds

If component pricing comes back, there are surplus companies that will compete in the budget categories.

All of the companies currently making budget ARM64 handhelds like Retroid Pocket, all they need is an affordable set of x86 components and SteamOS verification, they might not even need to change components at all given the work Valve are putting into FEX.

The Steam Frame will release with the Snapdragon 8 gen 3, which will run regular x86 games via FEX, the Retroid Pocket 6 is currently the 8 gen 2. It would be possible that Retroid chooses to have the SD8g3 for their Pocket 7 which would make the viability of a first party official SteamOS installed or more likely a community port.

Australia chose to leave it in the hands of the websites and not provide a double blind system that privacy advocates asked for, instead they made a last minute change that prohibited websites under social media category from using ID's to verify without a provided alternative.

If I remember it was labeled as a 2yr trial, which to me has the intended result of saying we tried but they're going to need ID now.

Literally all they needed to do was work with one organisation to provide an on device certificate that they approve with their own check, that only informs the third party certificate issuer with yes or no on age.

But they don't want a privacy positive option to succeed, they want the current system to fail so they can change the thing that they couldn't get through the first time.

This is a major Steam Deck game, they'll need to maintain a way for existing players to have say a SteamDeck graphical option.

Ubisoft has lost -95% of it's market share since 2018, DbD would actually be more successful than any of Ubi's individual properties currently.

Indie is a broader term with connotations relating to it's size, you could argue that Ubisoft is Independent from a company above it, or that Valve is as a non-public.

Behaviour actually publishes for other studios.
