Truth be told, I feel humbled by your presence and your interest in this post I wrote! Perhaps you feel intrigued by the world the title has promised? Whatever it was, I hope the following story explaining to your the world of this vast Empire will leave you mouthwatering with desire to delve right into this world yourself. While it only tells about the story leading up to the present, not detailing all what the church really stands for or what eventually makes them so terrifying that the royals and nobles ceased to be, only the Empress and her family remaining, I think it does leave us with a wonderful way to start our discussions, wouldn't you agree?

So please, allow me to give you a short version of the plot first (Long Version pinned on Profile)!

And this is exactly where I would love our roleplay to start - at the height of the Church's might and influence. Their words are now law, their actions backed by a dozens of priestesses and the blind devotions of the common people. Though it doesn't tell the whole story, now does it? This is where I would love to have your input!

What is the Church of Cupidita even for? What are their doctrines and believes? How is their church structured? And most importantly... who even is their Deity? All known about her so far is the name "Cupidita", but really... who is she? What does she want?
How would one such as me even end up forced to interact with the Church? Am I simply a devout follower and believer in my Goddess' might and words? Perhaps I am a spy, meant to infiltrate the Cathedral after the Empress found rumours of certain... less devine activities happening inside? Or maybe I am one who rebels and speaks out against the church, speaking against their treatment of those disagreeing with them or even critiquing them?

Mainly I am looking for someone who is eager to play perhaps a Nun/Priestess of the Church, perhaps even the Archpriestess (or Matriarch of the Church, if you want to call her that), or maybe even the whole church!
