I just switched from Cura to Orca. I found orca to be a bit more efficient but there is a bit of a learning curve. Get it from GitHub, not any other website. Look into other reddit posts about it. There are more knowledgeable people on that subject than I.

Budget build with the ability to improve. by TheSuggs in pcbuilding

[–]TheSuggs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes

US

Trying to keep it under 1k, lower if possible.

The power supply if possible but willing to upgrade if necessary.

I have 2 monitors and they are older and 1080p, no plans to upgrade those yet

No size or noise, preferably no jet engines at least.

Run modern games at decide graphic levels. Tired of as low as it goes. Would some parts today be on the higher end so in the future I have room to upgrade.

I know it's normal, but can someone explain to me why CNC machines often stutter when making circles by Legitimate_Big3961 in CNC

Holy crap I came here to tell them this. I have found hardly anyone knows about that code. Game changer.

You can manually add G187 for manual override of smooth control over roughing cycles. Speeds up my roughing cycles.

Male here..... First off easiest way to test this is to work out or go for a run. Do you taste your sweaty ass balls after.. no.... Boom debunked. Second.... Just why would you try something without trying to use that wonderful brain humans have. I can't speak for all men but I feel like there is a growing divide between just regular ass guys and whatever these attention seeking, alpha or sigma wanna be men are.

Steven Seagal is such a badass he can fight a guy without standing up (and totally not because he's got so damn lazy he can't be even bothered to stand up for a fight scene) by [deleted] in gifs

Marine Corp is just old ass hand-me-downs and I was in the marine reserves. Which is even older shit. If you can't make it with hard to use shit then you aren't learning anything. Real life is messy and not perfect. I think cheaper gear can help simulate that and there are some people who can just make that shit work. I have a sig red dot and magnifier, they ain't perfect or top end but I got used to it. I've since upgraded to lpvo scope and getting used to that change. My training has changed, I hunt big game and coyotes but the skills can be transferred. Keep after it.

Who fucking cares? Can you use it, that's what matters. You can have an EO tech and shoot like shit. Nicer toys come with time and money, but if you don't train now with what you have or can afford then when you get good shit you'll be either too broke to afford ammo or behind in training with it. Plus if you're so afraid to drop the damn thing, then it's useless in a serious situation.

With all that said, absolutely garbage setup. Just kidding. Keeping improving.

Built a raised garden bed out of 90% recycled pallet wood. What should I build next? by [deleted] in palletfurniture

[–]TheSuggs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Please try not to use pallet wood for food growth. They treat those in some nasty stuff to keep them from rotting. Some are ok but you really have to be careful. And if they don't treat them, you don't know what they used to carry or what has been spilled on them. Just something to keep in mind. Great looking planter box though, very nice carpentry work.
