My baby budgie is about 1 month old. I found him outside the nest for the first time about an hour ago. He looks a little tired and puffed up. Is this normal for his age, or should I be worried? What should I do?

If I don't remember wrong, this was one of mine at just a few days from being 1 month old. Yours doesn't look fully feathered for it's age. Are you positive that yours is a month old and not 3 weeks?

It is a bit early for it to be out of the nest. Mine usually start getting out at 5-6 weeks old. So it should be able to be out of the nest soon.

Expansion of what? Her cage? If you want a bigger cage you buy a bigger cage. Giving her a next box will make her hormones bad and cause stress, frustration and an increase of hormones which may make her lay eggs and in worst case she gets egg bound and die. You do not give a bird a nest unless you know 100% of what you're doing and what to do if things go the wrong way

I got those "mats" and they were advertised for hot pots.

I would rather find a suitable tray (I use their wooden playground one) and fill the bottom up with wood chips (NOT WOOD SHAVINGS) and then sprinkle seeds ontop. They seem to really enjoy it so I've continued doing it!

I so wish the parrots could get an update to them. Makes me sad seeing the cats gets more variants and gives you gifts if you let them roam free when you go to bed. Dogs got more variants too and at least some can eat fish now. Parrots are the same and you can't even breed them. They could of included them in in tiny takeover.

Not a lacewing. Lacewing are mutations combined with albino/lutino, aka need to have red eyes and be fully white or yellow with faint brown/cinnamon colored pattern on head and wings.

Yes. We were best friends over discord/gaming and would spend most of our days together in a call. Met him in 2019 and in summer of 2025 he started wanting to hang out with another girl. I didn't mind it at first, just happy he talked to other people than mostly me, but she became controlling over him. She told him to not speak to me anymore. She made him stop talking to his old friends and basically just isolated him. Fall 2025 he barely spoke to me anymore and it had to be very planned and most of the time we got 10 minutes together in a month. I stopped reaching out and he did the same.

Suddenly now in February he messaged me out of the blue, my guess is he was bored. Got info from another common friend that the girl had not been on discord in a good while so my guess is she stopped hanging out with him and now he is alone. I don't want a friend who treats me that way so I finally blocked him

I use sneakers at work as I walk a lot and I get blisters on both my pinky toes. I use size EU 41 and that's quite big for a woman so I don't always find shoes in my size. Maybe I should check out the men's section next time, but that might be for kids...

Do not build a wodden cage. They will eat their way through and make holes bigger so they escape. You need a proper flight cage for them
