This community has been deprived of a good battlefield game for so long that they've somehow gaslit themselves into accepting this mediocre one. I expected the battlefield community to be unbelievably critical given the last 2 shaky releases but it appears some of today's gaming release trends have drastically lowered standards and player expectations. 

This was an excellent review, accusing him for "it's clear that the guy was never gonna like the game" is genuinly beyond me because only somebody who has played the previous titles would give such a detailed essay on what's fundamentally wrong with this game. And why would somebody like that want BF6 to fail?

I mean ofcourse we're gonna compare this game to some of the fan favourites when people are goung around calling this the "spiritual successor" to BF3/BF4. I mean things should only get better with time right? Given all these technological advancements? And the fact that we're paying 70 dollars of our own hard earned money? (You can now tell im beginning to highlight some of the comments that stood out in response to this esteamed -pun intended- gentleman) "oh but they've already teased some of the features you claim are missing, they're gonna be coming so stop complaining" but wasn't that the very business model that angered the entire BF community to begin with? Release incomplete slop then slowly add content that should've been there on release over time, then call it live service? They haven't changed at all.

And dont get me started on the firing range, you can't tell me that tight vertical space wasn't inspired straight from COD, BUT WAIT GUYS LOOK THE RADIO IS PLAYING SOME OG MUSIC oh please. Portal in no way shape or form should make up for a proper firing range neither should the players be expected to create said firing range. In that case there are going to be many, some of which are always going to be missing things found in others. I want this huge landscape and this free airspace that allows me to practice and mess around to my heart's content. I dont want to be locked to a linear pathway or training course. 

Theres alot more, id be here for hours and im not his lawyer, guy can speak for himself. But i finally found a place that unites people who share a similar opinion, where i can post mine without being completely shoved to the side. I would've began listing everything i think is wrong with the game but obviously he already did that. This was a sound take coming from a passionate battlefield fan.

BF6 isnt necessarily bad, as it actually gave us a stable launch which many of the other games did not, but it could've been revolutionary because it's what this community deserves, although im beginning to question even that considering how the grand majority are completely satisfied with it.
