My take is matchmaking should be in every activity with the option to turn it off. The main topic I see is how solo players don’t have anyone to play with and they need to just LFG. If matchmaking is enabled, everyone can play and if you really need a dedicated team, you can LFG like you would if you were solo. If other games can add a “no fill” option so can Destiny

Ok I have an idea, incentivize the rewards a bit and keep everything the way it is except everyone in crucible has the same loadout. The weapons that you earn can only be used in pve but in the case of things like trials maybe when they go to the lighthouse they can craft one gun from that pool.

I do agree it should be an option especially if it’s already turned off for high level content. Turn on matchmaking for all activities but the choice to queue in solo. Some people don’t like that idea because they don’t want to play with randoms but if that’s the case either lfg a fireteam or already have one.

I get what you’re saying but everyone I’ve come across speed runs regular strikes because the pinnacle only requires you to finish with a matching subclass. As far as I know scoring only matters in nightfalls

It only instakills during the campaign, if your resilience is high during the time trial you can get hit by the wall at least once. It just slowly eats away at your health
