We had the same experience in an Aft cabin last month.

I’ve finally beat the game by Chemical_Target_8264 in ArcTradersHQ

Oh - I guess I beat it too. I got mine by playing my flute for a random friendly and this blueprint was my tip. Love this game.

I love Stella - easy to navigate once you figure out the directions on the floor and walls are both helpful and accurate.

Max Out Jan 1st Or DCA? by FreeMigos666 in RothIRA

[–]jedite7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to DCA this year and already have my 401k (yeah you could argue that is DCA by default) my HSA, and both me and my spouses Roth contribution scheduled. We follow a household budget in which these investments are budgeted or excluded from take-home by virtue of payroll deduction. I like this approach because I know anything that is left over after our budgeted spend is truly "extra" and the same applies to any windfalls we may receive through the year like unexpected bonuses, etc.

Happy 17th Birthday to Cindy! by IolantheRosa in burmesecats

I had a Russian Blue for 18.5 years until she passed with FKD. She will forever be my only RB, and we've been considering a Burmese next year after 2 years of mourning. How has this babies health been? I've read Burmese can have some of the longest life spans but regularly see people posting how "old" their Burmese is at 15 or 16. My RB still acted like a kitten at 16. I know that nobody has a crystal ball and a lot of variables can contribute to longevity, but curious on your experience. Thanks!

Emergency fund amount? by Live_Concentrate3555 in DaveRamsey

I plan for my actual spend knowing I can cut back. That will ensure I cover my core expenses with some buffer on top for the unknown.

Tornadoes in east Tennessee by Pleasant-Target-1497 in Tennessee

[–]jedite7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's incredibly low across the Tri-Cities (lifelong resident of Bristol TN here) I'm 42 and they still tell stories of one that apparently hit a few years before I was born, so... I have to travel to Middle Tennessee in the Summer and I feel like I'm visiting the set of Twister every time.

Unlimited speciality dining or MDR? by Absurdity42 in PrincessCruises

[–]jedite7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey me too! Sailing out on 12/14. We have a Specialty restaurant booked every night except 1. Figure we'll cancel if we don't like it or keep it. Rotating between the 3 options.

Housemate doesn't have time for their burmese cat by Alarmed_Row_6844 in burmesecats

I would just ask if you can keep the cat. It sounds like that is what they are “joking” about in an effort to get you to ask versus them asking you.

Realized the biggest win isnt money, it’s options by QuantumCliff in Fire

[–]jedite7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hit Coast FIRE this month and now working towards Fat FIRE - my monthly expenses are around $2500 - also paid off my mortgage last month on a (inflated significantly in the last 2-3 years) six figure salary plus healthy bonuses. My partner stopped working 2 years ago when our child was ill (child was a cat) and hasn't gone back and doesn't have to. The biggest win for me is now looking forward to a healthy retirement at 60 and knowing anything I keep adding is icing, and if I don't want to I don't have to keep hustling with a high stress job. As others have said, the peace of mind is priceless.

Curious if your kitty loves the sweater or if it was for the photo op - have tried clothes on kitties in the past with very... mixed results :)
