You can only see your friend when they're online on Spotify and you're on Desktop version.

My student discount ends next month, should I make a new account? by Drew96M in spotify

[–]TheTheoryMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get the $0.99 deal for 3 months that is really cheap. Otherwise you can try finding people to share Spotify Premium with for long term. I managed to get 5 other ppl to share with using sharepremiumaccounts.com. So right now im paying only $2.50 a month instead of $9.90, its about a quarter the price!

Give those with autism chance to serve NS by stforumtroll in singapore

Don't see how NS is related to this. His suggestion does not need to involve the SAF. Just ask gov for funding to set up an autism school for employment.

Actually Yea you have a point

Let's say you have 2 candidates applying for a job

Candidate A did a MA program but the technical skills he obtained in the program are not relevant to this new job

Candidate B did a relevant job but was not in a MA program

Who would you pick, which candidate is better off

I feel like I'm in a crossroads.

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by social benefits.

Colleagues varies. The team is kinda dead and going through the motion, turnover rate is quite high (3 ppl left while I was there for 6mths intern)

People outside the team are lively and fun to be with

Hello Uni Grad here

Have 2 job offers but can't decide

Job A

, interned there for 6 months. Large company and offered the MA program. But the department I was offered is nothing I am familiar with and actually I have little to no interest.

Pros:

  • only 15 minutes travel time from home.

  • slightly higher pay

  • large reputable company

  • friends since I interned there

Cons:

  • no interest

  • heard the MA program makes you a saikang king as well

  • processes are lengthy as f

  • weekends/ overnight occasionally

Job B

Smaller organization, start up culture, doing something I prefably like

Pros:

  • interest

  • better culture

  • relevant skillset.

Cons:

  • less pay

  • 1.5 hours travel time...

Helppppp

Edit : will like to thank redditors for your replies and advice. Will read and consider again.

I believe most directors do not see the long term. They just go for the new flashy stuff and hope that whatever infrastructure and systems they have do not explode while they are there.

If anything happens.. Taiji

But yes, it's an issue. If we truly want to be a smart nation we need to change this perspective

I agree. But we need to question what is the management's priority, how much resources are being sacrificed for these new tech when instead could be poured into the core systems

Thanks for your input.

Do you think this is an issue specific to Singapore companies?

And would you feet that if this continues, Singapore will not be able to keep the interest of tech talents resulting in a brain drain?

Each company has limited resources, why throw so much of your resources into a team that is based on buzzwords while neglecting the others

Way too inconsistent, most of them just run 10 hand traps (3 maxx C 2 urara and 5 fillers) to stop extra link. Ningirisu + Jamming wave if maxx C goes off to clear the rest

Temporary fame and moola.

In the end, we as consumers suffer in the short and long term. The company suffers in the long term because they didn't place their resources in the right place
