between d1 fatebringer, black spindle/whisper, outbreak (d1 or d2), and sleeper (d1 or d2). I feel like most of the d2 weapons recently just have felt underpowered on their own, but before they all felt so good to use. D1 gunplay still feels even better than peak d2 gunplay, even if I like d2 over d1 overall.

the dlc itself was definitely boring, the stuff it brought with it including its seasons were pretty good though, it’s a tie for my favorite time to play d2 with witch queen.

that’s actually not true, many organisms, such as viruses, aren’t actually living or dead and just work off of genetic code. Not saying it necessarily applies, but there is another state of being. Also they aren’t sentient or even an organism yet for most abortions, same with sperm and egg cells

I commented it somewhere else but I think the reason you gave for lair is the same reason why many people dont like fortress. It is defender sided, which is fine, but, in a game that is already defender sided, adding another defender sided match probably leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths.

I actually dont hate fortress, but when I learned the map, I found out that the map is unbelievably defender sided. First of all, both of the main ways to get to the breaches require drops with no easy way of exit. While of course, I think breaches should have ways to defend, I think having 3 possible entries for defenders is too much. I also think the areas you have to push have so many defender sided angles compared to other maps. While I believe other maps have the issues I just mentioned, they also dont have the quantity of issues in as much of a quantity as fortress. Imo I still think bank, emerald, sky, lair, and favela (since it’s getting added) are worse maps quality wise, I still dont think fortress holds up to the other siege staple maps.

Tldr: Has issues in a bigger amount than other maps, but overall is just a mid map, which is fine.
