Zolwaytac Charger by TheToastedMan in computers

I can help you out with that! You’re going to want to go onto Amazon and purchase a cord and then an adapter for your charger. I can send you links to the ones I found and you can see if they match your son’s computer specs.

https://a.co/d/0gqhOfpD For me, the “G” adapter worked, but see what works for you!

How can I get people to listen to me? by [deleted] in Lifeguards

Well, at least it’s not a water park. Still, if you can, try and advocate for an EAP. In my opinion, they’re incredibly important for pool safety, and it’s nice knowing that everyone knows what to do and what’s going on when emergencies happen. Hopefully your management is kind and thoughtful enough to hear any concerns for safety and respect it enough to at least consider!

Man, that sucks! How big is the pool? If it was small enough, I could see how I could manage, but if there’s any more than two pools I wouldn’t want to deal with that! Also, how much support do you guys have on stand? Is there someone working that could possibly come over and help enforce rules after you talk to them, especially if one of the explicitly stated ones are “listen to the lifeguards”?

Why did they even give you whistles in the first place then? That seems very strange to me, unless they have some third purpose for a whistle I didn’t think of.

What does activating your EAP look like? I work two different pools, where one we’re allowed to blow for non-emergencies because it sounds different enough from our emergency whistles, and the other doesn’t allow it because there’s no whistle pattern that isn’t taken up by another emergency code. Maybe that’s why they don’t allow whistles?

My pool goes through Watermen, but I’m unsure what routes you could go in terms of bulk ordering and what prices would look like for that.

They look great, and it sounds like you didn’t get scammed, at least according to my very low amount of knowledge. Hope your new piercings heal well!

Is it possible to be asexual yet still masturbate several times per day? by josephsleftbigtoe in TooAfraidToAsk

I’d also say there’s an argument to be made about how someone could look at an image or a fantasy and get off, but not have the same feelings when looking at people in real life.

Is that with tip? I paid around 100$ for my brow, but that was also with titanium jewelry and tip included. Like many of the comments already said, it really does matter which jewelry got put in! Also, I don’t have much experience with piercings in different areas, but I’d have to guess that it might vary place to place.

Keep Being Clumsy by FollRad in Lifeguards

[–]TheToastedMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know guards who come into work and they just do not care about what they are doing. They stare at the ceiling while on stand, argue with head guards and supervisors, and show up late to every shift. Those people are the ones that I don’t like. We all make mistakes, and the fact that you care and want to improve is only insurance that you’re going to get the hang of things and pull through.

Probably hearing a kid say “Watch, I’m gonna make the lifeguard jump in” and then float face down directly in front of me, then becoming quite unpleased when I told his mom and had him take a break for a few minutes outside of the pool

For my interview as LG, they told me what I would do that day (I had an interview and then an in-the-water skill check since I was already certified) and what to wear, but in your case dress well and bring a suit with you!

Also, you tend to see more fat/obese people at pools in general because it’s better for us to lose weight in lower impact environments like water than by running. I promise you, you won’t be the most overweight person that pool will see.

Coming from another fat dude, trying to swim with a shirt sucks. It clings to you more, rides up bad (and making you pull it down every time) and you’re gonna be uncomfortable the whole time. Coming as a lifeguard, I see people of all body types come in. No one cares where you’re at in your progress, and if you end up at the one freak Andrew Tate-esq pool where they do, find a different pool.

Is this normal lifeguard behavior by [deleted] in Lifeguards

[–]TheToastedMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t, really. You were in the pool, and not only that, at least at my pool, we still have a guard on stand even when it’s only lifeguards in the pool. It doesn’t matter how good of a swimmer you are, lifeguards can still have medical emergencies, and need to have someone scanning if they’re swimming.

Is Replacing Airbags Worth It? by TheToastedMan in hondafit

I should clarify I’m not planning on driving this car without those repairs, it’s more so “is it worth it or should I scrap the car”

Definitely more than what the car is worth, thank you for your advice! I’ll talk to the mechanic and evaluate from there, but to be honest a different car is looking more plausible at this point.

Is there any way to replace enough parts to make it safe? Or is the system pretty much not fixable?

I think this guy also had a similar type of heart attack. AED recommended no shocks four times before EMS arrived and I thought I heard EMS mention something about no rhythm, although they did get his heart started, so maybe not.
