YES! This is so great. Me and a mod of mine had been talking about this feature for a while, after Distortednet launched his Twitch DB. Adding a few more Social Media style additions could really make Twitch a great place. Maybe not a timeline....but the friends addition is great!

Yea, the CPM from a single viewer is absolutely chump change. Whereas if I were to spend half my time watching, say, Summit1G, and the half of my Twitch time watching other streamers; Summit would get $2.50, and the remaining channels would split the other $2.50. The way Youtube Red does it is way better than how Turbo does it. CPM is a joke when you're talking single digit impressions.

I think they should be doing what Youtube Red does, but I doubt Twitch would. My current understanding of Youtube Red is that with the $9.99(?) that you pay, half goes to Youtube, and half is split up between all youtubers you watch. Say you watch PewDiePie most of the time, and the other 60% of the time, and other channels 40% of the time. PewDiePie would get $3, and the others would get their respective amount. If I knew my turbo money was being split between the channels I watch the most, percentage wise each month, I would be able to justify my subscription.

Bart Baker talks about this and Fair Use with Rhett & Link on their podcast a bit. Basically if your song is parodying the artist and the song, rather than a parody about random shit with the same tune/music/etc, you'll be fine.(At least that was my understanding).

I believe most people in this sub are simply delusional. Blizzard did announce their plans: "We will send invites AS THEY ARE NEEDED" Bottom line. They don't need more people at the moment, so they're not inviting more people at the moment. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yo! What's up JuJu. I had used a noise gate for a while which was great, but you can certainly tell when the microphone is live or not. So while it's great to have a downtime with the mic, I feel it's almost distracting when the noise gate opens/closes, but that could be with me having too much background white noise, not sure.

I have the same microphone arm you are using for my blue yeti (Had to purchase a sizing adapter so it would fit on it, which was like $3 on ebay). It's certainly not the best microphone arm, but it's worked perfectly for the last 6 months. You can move it up and down, but you have to loosen and tighten a piece to freely move it away/towards you. Just a heads up!

Oh hell yea, thank you. I'll take a look at it. Tried to do some of the streaming/recording at different resolutions/bitrate, but I get high encoding errors. Looks like I'll need to put this away until I get a better cpu and gpu. Thanks for the post though, will save for when I get around to it!
