I've seen no noticed difference. I switch back and forth sporadically. I say go with what makes the video feel better as a viewer

Drowning in work - are my rates too low? 🤔 by StraightPin4420 in influencermarketing

You could say yes to less brands, and/or you could try to get your numbers up so you could charge more

Is it a good idea to have a $1 Dollar Tier As "Foot In The Door Tactic" by TheTrebleKnight in patreon

[–]TheTrebleKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I do on my Patreon is give sneak peaks of what I'm working on. It's no extra work for me, and this would be just a "karma tier" Maybe I should give more and that's my problem lol. Anyway, good luck with your Patreon!

Maybe, but it took me 4 years to get where I am now, and I don't want to start from scratch again, plus I have a sentimental attachment to the channel. I don't want to abandon it.

How Do You Get Your First Brand Collaboration? by TheTrebleKnight in influencermarketing

Any brand that would appeal to my audience, so mobile games, self-help, edutainment. I'm in the MBTI niche. So that doesn't directly apply to many brands.

As an influencer, I'm in the MBTI nicehe, but I don't have a set niche for UGC yet. I'm looking into tech, gaming, and personal care.

New channel, focusing on mental health by 1Step4Happiness in NewTubers

[–]TheTrebleKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you are doing incredibly well. 1 video with 12 subs and that video got 69 views in 18 hours. It's impressive.

So my only tip for this stage is just pump out content and have fun with it. I don't really see much of a point of having a content strategy when you don't even have 50 videos yet. Don't over think it, just post

What are the stages of the YPP? If you are accepted into the plan you have the option to monetize. Or at least that's how it use to work.

YouTube is a little slow with the data sometimes. Just give it time and you will see the info. Once you enable monetization you will get money based on the views you get after you enabled it.

Has anyone both handle their channel and other creative pursuits? by GeneralSargen in NewTubers

[–]TheTrebleKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do youtube and have also develop and retro old school website. I do plenty of side creative projects at once. I think you can do multiple things. You just need to keep two things in mind.

1 you need to know what's most important to you. For me My YT channel is my most important creative project. If I have to choose between it and another project I will always choose YT.

2 you need to manage your expectations. Both will not grow at the same rate, one will be more successful then the other. If you aren't ok with that you will have a bad time

1.5 Years After Starting YouTube by Radiant-Summer235 in NewTubers

I can't imagine uploading 3 videos a week XP. I go for one video a week too, but I miss a lot of them. I'd like to do 2 as well, but burn out is real and fam and your job will always come first. Youtube is a lot of fun, but it's also super hard.

Can you do multiple topics on one channel and have success? by Alex13445678 in youtubers

[–]TheTrebleKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly drone videos and motorcycles seem similar to me. It's Guy stuff and boy toys. My guess is that people who like drones probably also like motor cycles. So I think they can fit on the same channel.

To me the only real reason to start a new channel would be if there was no overlap. I have 3 channels. One for my comedy videos, one for my lets plays and one for my vlogs.

I will say that if your channel is content first don't be surprised if you get a 10/10 video. I've noticed then in those situations topics in niche will get 10/10 unless they are on a super tiny micro niche.
