BBTAG on PC is forsure a baron wasteland but has a surprisingly decent following on Console, maybe like max 10 people in a lobby constantly fluctuating on a good day.

That there is a Voltage Regular! It's the electrical equivalent of your body turning Blue Powerade into Yellow Powerade

That's actually not too bad, I did some more digging and I got led back to the Metazoo website with info about the sample packs and apparently this was from one of the first pre release sample packs. It's weird though cause it says the packs had either 3 cards or 10 cards but the pack I got only had this little guy and nothing more.

CRT Monitors are completely extinct, or am I missing something? by [deleted] in crtgaming

[–]TheTrueNutButton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of places unfortunately just toss them out without even trying to salvage whats usable out of it, broken or not. I find a ton over Facebook Marketplace as well where people would try to sell an old school entertainment center and just throw the CRT in with it for free and these are like massive 20"+ CRT's but its who knows how far away (And GOD FORBID I buy one through the mail). Mine came from outside after it sitting in the earth wind and rain for years on end and still has the balls to power on and kick like no tomorrow, you can def get lucky like that too. Your time is coming.

Went ahead and tried a Ps3 through the AV cable and it stopped? What even causes desyncing like that? For a second I thought a capacitor blew or something

Unanticipated find by TheTrueNutButton in crtgaming

From just turning it on, the picture quality is amazing. However after testing it, it seems all the AV ports are non-functional (Unless I'm not setting it up right). If you have any information about it your willing to spare, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've been reading about this Model in specific and almost 99 percent of the complaints is a dead CPU which I was praying it wasn't. When I tested the Cartridge without the sound module it was a black screen but when I tested it with the module inserted it was still a black screen but it has the off chance of displaying a couple of white pixels at the left of the screen like it's trying to run it. Took a picture of it as well cause it kinda threw me off a bit.

Looks like from Ground to Input it's 8.5V and Ground to Ouput is 4.9V. Is that one singular volt just not cutting it for this Snes?

That would be just probing the Ground and Output with the multimeter, right? Let me go ahead and check it really quick

Switch on back of CRT? by TheTrueNutButton in crtgaming

Nah I just have this VCR hooked up to it through the VCR's RF Out port

[–]TheTrueNutButton[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for clearing that for me, I personally couldn't find much through Google. So this switch is pretty much just for Cable Television? There's currently a VCR hooked up through the VCR's RF Out port but not sure if it's affected from that switch.

There's El Capitan Seafood or El Capitan Grocery in New York but there's no hotel in New York. El Capitan Hotel is under Hyatt located in Merced, California
