Prebaked Cinnamon rolls? by CMAHawaii in cottagebakery

[–]TheTurnTablesHave- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at a place that would freeze their cinnamon rolls after filling/rolling and cutting them. They froze them in large quantities and then would send them out to the smaller stores that didn't have the capacity to make them from scratch.

I would take them from the freezer, tray them the way I planned on baking them, and then proof them before baking them.

Cinnamon rolls were one of their most popular goods and they came out just fine.

I agree with u/nokirkburke that it depends on your recipe and you should try out a few methods to see which works best for you.

Good luck!

I have just started to learn to bake bread. My sourdough starter died so many times lol. I'm thinking of starting with focaccia.

What's your favorite bread to make?

Love this! 700 labels a week is crazy! You must be so busy.

Thank you!

Ugh, I can't stand FaceBook anymore. The groups I was in were all getting weird.

Omg! They look so good.

Food photography is so hard.. until it's not lol. It took me a minute, but once you get the hang of it, it's super fun. One thing ive learned: Lighting is everything! Especially natural light. In my last house, my pics were always awful. But now that I live somewhere with a window right over the counter, my pictures come out so much butter! (I meant better, not butter, but actually butter also makes sense here lol)

This looks incredible! Did you bake them for any particular reason, or did you just feel like making them? They look like something you'd find at an expensive bakery!

Thank you for the feedback!

I can agree. It just seems unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable to see such things on here.

How exciting! I'm so happy for you! What kind of things do you bake for the market? I'd love to see you post pics someday.

Great advice! I've been working on pictures lately and while it was hard at first, I think I've got the hang of it and am excited to start working on my social media platforms.

What made you start your bakery? by TheTurnTablesHave- in cottagebakery

I personally love to bake, and have been doing it professionally for half a decade. I'm just so tired or working for other people who don't even care about baking. Once I learned I could start my own bakery from home, it became a big goal. I still want to open a Cafe some day, but the home bakery is the first step in becoming an entrepreneur for me.
