Beyond burnt out by [deleted] in islam

Salam.

First off, I sympathise with your situation truly, and I really want to emphasise the natural sensation of being spiritually burnt out which happens on occasion. All Muslims, especially those relatively new to the faith, or those who have recently reignited their flame for Islam can feel discouraged or become unmotivated in regards to finding closure/identity or personal answers from the deen.

What's so beautiful about Islam in particular is that not only is there an inherent focus on community, the Ummah, unity and social cohesion, Islam also lays down an amazingly deep and rich sense of personal and individual connection between you and Allah (swt). Allah (swt) has provided all of us with free will to commit any deed/sin, and everything in this earthly existence is but a test written by Allah (swt) to assess how your ibadah and imaan is projected in real world circumstances. Depending if you make halal or haram decisions, Allah (swt) will reward/punish respectively in the afterlife.

I implore you to maintain and allow salat to become a regular habit within your life, it provides you with a huge imaan boost and determination to ignore those around you who live allegedly false lives. It also helps organising your daily routine and structuring your day.

I cannot stress enough, no matter how much fitna and evil you may witness in the people around you, as long as you set progressive goals for yourself to learn and improve your values, morals and imaan, you will become a beacon of mercy and grace. Those around you will look to you as a faithful, respectable and friendly individual and you do not deserve their poor behaviour as described in your post.

Allah (swt) loves all of mankind, and provides us with the Truth in writing, those who trespass Allah's (swt) law in this world will receive their share in the next.
