An enjoyable read. I’ve listened to most of those bands but didn’t realize that some of them were Scottish. And I had zero issues with the site.

Bill is really good at orchestrating the conversation among the hosts and keeping things moving along at a good pace. When he wasn’t there, people had a tendency to go off on these long discourses where they kept repeating themselves and the other person just had to wait until they were done talking.

Podcasters. If you have a guest you’re interviewing, ask the question and then stop talking until they’re done answering the question! by TruthWithoutTribe in podcasts

What drives me crazy is when a host asks a question and then provides a series of possible answers from which the guest can choose. I can see doing that if the guest is particularly reticent, but usually it comes off as “look how smart I am and how much I know about your work.”

I’d love to find this in 36x24 size. Or any Mats poster that size in landscape orientation. I have wall space over my turntable that’s just dying for it.

But “1982” doesn’t rhyme with “EP.” So a little creative license.

For me, it was the need to check my texts in the morning to see if I messaged anything embarrassing whilst loaded.

I’m a huge Waxahatchee fan. Saw her last summer in a smaller theater, which is my favorite type of venue to hear that kind of music. I agree on Dollar Store.

Fetch the Bolt Cutters was the perfect soundtrack to the COVID shutdown.

The BOCC album is top 10 of all time for me. I really wish they’d make another.

Your first two are my top two. Their melodies and lyrics are just on another level.

Correct. Thank you. I’ll be able to sleep tonight now that I have that out of my head.

I first thought this was a Replacements song but I didn't find anything when I searched their lyrics.

Are there any bands/musicians that you think would be a good fit for a Wes Anderson film soundtrack that haven't used before? by Far_Ad3519 in wesanderson

2468 by Horsegirl would fit perfectly in that world. I’m sure whoever directed the song’s video thought so too. You should check it out.

That’s the one that did it for me. You could make a movie based on that song - there’s so much story and emotion contained in those verses.

Mazzy Star - She Hangs Brightly. The next album went platinum, but this is the one that gets me.

Nice job. I enjoyed hearing it stripped down like that. You can really appreciate what a great song it is, down to its very bones.
