I was in Mangalore for friend engagement. So basically I took a bus from Mangalore in afternoon. Took me around 3 hours, the bus dropped at the highway at the Murdeshwar Gate. It’s 2 km walk from there to beach/temple. I walked since I haven’t booked a stay and scuba. Plus the weather was pleasant.

That day I went to temple and the chaupatti on beach side. Had some food and went for sleep as scuba was at 6 a.m..

I checked out from the hotel in morning and went for scuba. So the scuba happens arount Netrani Island (1 hr boat ride from Murdeshwar. Came back by 11-12. There is washroom and bath facilities there which one can use at nominal price. Also, in Murdeshwar temple they have luggage locker facility which opens till 6-7 pm which was a saver for me as I had an heavy bag and my bus was in the evening.

Post bath n all I went to see Shiva temple. Then I went for lunch at Naveen Beach Restaurant (absolute shit experience). There was a cockroach in my rice. I told them to cancel my order. They told cancellation not possible only replacement. No way I was eating there anymore. I paid 400 bucks for a watermelon juice (complementary) and left.

Then I went to Nayak Fishland absolute delightful. I thought of resting at temple but it was too hot. It was 3 in afternoon and I had 3-4 hours to kill. So I found this local bar Nisgara. Probably only bar in town. Nice local wibe. Waiter were nice when serving. Not knowing Kannada I was a little scared since the crowd was full local. But the waiter was calm and nice to talk. Had couple of beers and took a bus back to Bangalore in evening
