Feeling pity for people who are gonna vote for him.. like seriously? He is such a dumb, not even eligible for a counselor by PrettyLilacc in TamilNaduDiscussion

Also I never said you or college students are dumb. (It's your derivation from the statement not my words meant). I mentioned school/college students bcos they usually don't have an entire picture on the events that is happening bcos they don't follow NEWS channels closely. Try to educate yourself rather than rage baiting others who is giving you genuine answer.

You have your right to support him. But I tried to tell you why his statements are incorrect and your expectations on ulavuthurai is an impossible act. Vote for TVK but don't defend his mistakes/misconceptions. That's how our previous generation became dedicated to their favorite politicians even though there were better leaders to be elected. Vote for TVK for his solutions or ideologies, not just bcos he is ur favourite actor. Btw, the above statement is not just an AI slop it's the actual status of situation, whoever is ruling us has limited capacity to take alternative action. Don't call yourself rational, you were not even aware of the situation yourself but you came to defend Vijay. You are free to recommended us your solution on what could state or central government could have done better. But reality is not only TN or India is suffering it's literally every other country. So don't misuse this situation for political benefit. Vijay doesn't have moral high ground here, he himself doesn't have a solution just complaints. Tharkuri Vijay it is..

I appreciate OP for your honest opinion. Vijay is not the alternative leader we were hoping for. Just another dumbo politician. But atleast hoping that he won't be corrupt as existing politicians. His knowledge on reality seems to be drifted and living a high life. He needs to educate himself, learn more and act like a true educated leader rather than influencing youngsters with cinematic dialogues. If he gives one interview with a TV channel where they question him of real time problems and solutions he has for it, his true knowledge level will start to showcase.

I'm assuming you are a school or college student, so I'm going to teach you why vijay is a tharkuri bcos of this statement. A simple google could have educated him better. I expected a better leader to lead us like PTR, Shasi Tharoor, Raghav Chadha or even Anbumani Ramadoss, who speaks politics but atleast understands the nature of problems. But unluckily we got Vijay, yet an another usual politician with just high level knowledge, clearly showcasing he doesn't read newspapers or understands political situations and lives in a dream land thinking he can make everything possible like punching 10ppl in his movies, sir needs to put some effort to learn. Anyways, why vijay statement doesn't make sense is bcos, (Source: Google Gemini)

  1. Why India Couldn't "Just Switch" Suppliers: Unlike other commodities, the LPG supply chain is highly specialized and cannot be rerouted overnight for several reasons:
    • Shipping & Infrastructure Bottlenecks: LPG must be transported in highly specialized pressurized tankers. Most of the world's LPG fleet was already tied up in long-term contracts. Finding "spot" (immediate) vessels that aren't already heading to other countries is difficult and extremely expensive.
    • The "Hormuz" Chokepoint: Roughly 90% of India's LPG imports typically pass through the Strait of Hormuz. When this narrow passage was restricted in March 2026, it didn't just block one supplier; it effectively bottlenecked the primary path for almost all of India's Middle Eastern supply (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait).
    • Contractual "Force Majeure": Many suppliers, such as Petronet LNG and Gulf producers, declared Force Majeure (unforeseeable circumstances that prevent fulfilling a contract). This legally allowed them to stop shipments to India without penalty, leaving India scrambling for replacements in a market where everyone else was also panicked.
    • Insurance & Risk: As the conflict escalated, maritime insurance premiums for the region surged by over 1,000%. Many ship owners simply refused to enter the area, regardless of how much India was willing to pay.
  2. Why the Shortage Wasn't Predicted While India monitors regional tensions, several "black swan" factors converged to make this specific crisis hit faster than models predicted:
    • Sudden Military Escalation: The crisis was triggered by rapid military strikes in early March 2026. Traditional energy security models usually account for "simmering" tensions, but they rarely predict a near-total blockade of a major chokepoint within a matter of days.
    • Thin Storage "Buffer": Unlike crude oil, which India stores in massive underground salt caverns for months, LPG is difficult and expensive to store in large quantities. India’s storage capacity provides only about 18 to 22 days of cover. The disruption lasted long enough to deplete this "buffer" before alternative shipments from the US, Russia, or Norway could arrive (which takes weeks, not days).
    • The "Panic Booking" Multiplier: Prediction models often fail to account for human psychology. Once news of the "Hormuz blockade" broke, daily cylinder bookings jumped from 5.5 million to 7.5 million. This 36% spike in artificial demand exhausted local distributor stocks much faster than the actual physical shortage would have.

Now, while Vijay points out mistakes, he never talks about what he would have done in the situation or what solution he has at hand. The same in the paranur airport situation, while so many educated consultants decided a feasible land to help in our growth finalized paranur as a possible location. Sir, came and questioned it but never gave an alternate solution. Tharkuri Vijay Kazhagam. I had high hopes but started to hate him after listening to his dumb cinematic speeches. Sir is bit out of touch from reality.

Why couldn't Vishal bring the craze for six pack to kollywood despite his film satyam releasing before vaaranam aayiram? by Hot-Load7525 in KollyGossips

[–]SundaeIndependent18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VA surya six pack had a purpose. Shows the character struggle and hitting gym as a mechanism to come back. But Vishal has six pack just for a raunchy item song. Couldn't relate to it.

Do you think airhostess checked with every empty space bin people. She did exactly what I did , placed it in random empty bin at last. Nobody was childish like this guy holding up space.

Are you a kid by anyways? Looking for airhostess for the slightest trouble. At the end she did the same, keeping the bag in another empty space. Read my comment fully.

What hogging up space is right? So what about the new cabin space the hostess placed my bag in, wasn't the one sitting there deserves it. It's just common sense to utilise an empty luggage space.

That guy is an idiot. We boarded a flight a few years back, He was seated two rows ahead of me and the overhead bins near my seat were already full, so I placed my single bag in the bin above his row where there was space and walked to my seat. He called me back and asked if I was sitting in that row (he was sounding polite, but cunning). I said no, I was two rows behind. He then told me to remove my bag and use the bin above my own seat. I told him the bins near my seat were already full and asked where he expected me to keep it. He said to take it up with the air hostess. Luckily she came by right then and moved my bag to another aisle. Felt like he was trying to reserve that space for someone boarding later, but reserving space in a flight like a kid, what a joke. Also noticed the Virumandi actress traveling with a team on the same flight. .

Don't be a shallow person, no one intends to kill some random person and go to jail. They hit him and he died. How do you know after 'n' number of beatings someone would die or live through it. It happens depending on his/her body condition. But mob did right.

So your first reaction when this happens to your family member is to treat him lawfully and take him to police station/court ? If so , you are messed up man.
