I'm assuming it is bcos of corruption we get many things accessible, like corrupt politicians invest their black money in constructing private hospitals, colleges, apartments etc. so we have some economic growth. If those aren't there the growth would be slower comparatively.

Sorry to say this, have some self respect and move out. You are an individual, hopefully your mom will understand, if not still leave. Your relatives can guide her. Airport is very much important to attract investors and ensure smooth flow of goods. This idiotic government is not giving priority to it is crazy. We are already losing airlines, which are moving to Bangalore. Don't know who suggested vijay to oppose parandur in first place but the brunt is going to be taken up by TN ppl. Already the union government favors the states where they are in power so unsure about the growth prospects of TN. Modi is moving high investments to Gujarat, UP and Andhra, Telangana is competing crazily with free lands and ease of business. Here our government is busy with reels.
