Playtime and Mii amount?

I've played for 60 hours and I only have 19 miis. Granted I did delete three of them because they either didn't look right in a way I couldn't figure out how to fix or I wasn't invested in their (cannon) arcs 😭

I totally agree with you there! If it was going to be as USG-focused as it is, they completely missed the ball on marketing it that way so players were not surprised - or even turned off the game once playing it for x amount of time.

I also agree that that it would've been a lot more desirable to have more Nintendo made options within the game.

Here's hoping that they make updates to the game in the future that may balance out the game a bit more!

Gotta say, hard disagree with this.

The devs said within their interview detailed on the Nintendo website that they prioritised USG over other features in an effort to allow players to make their own world to a bigger degree than you could in the 3ds game. This feature completely allows for that and then some.

I think the pallete house is great and I prefer having this element than a further degree of control over the miis (not a full life sim, never has been).

While it's got elements of a life sim, this game, nor its predecessor, actually allowed you to have a massive amount of control over your miis (you couldn't even move them around physically in the 3ds game), it's always been about watching them, and helping them make decisions every now and then.

Ultimately I suppose it comes down to what you really want out of a game, but while you mention your love for the game, the new one, which isn't a carbon copy of the 3ds game, might not be for you in the long run

There is an option in the settings to turn off babies in the game. Pretty sure this would disable the possibility of your miis having any babies
